A little different topic: could we talk about reducing plastic waste? 🌱

Obviously anything involving sharps or contaminated medical waste needs to be disposed of appropriately, but I wonder whether there's an opportunity to reduce some of the unnecessary packaging and use more environmentally friendly or recyclable materials where it's safe to do so.

The forum talks a lot about harm reduction, so I was wondering if environmental impact be considered another aspect of harm reduction? Plastic waste can persist in the environment and affect wildlife and ecosystems.

What do you think are there realistic ways the GLP-1 and peptide community could reduce unnecessary plastic waste without compromising safety?

Ha, funny you mention, when u order compounded, you get a big ole styrofoam Cooler every month - i at least feel better knowing i am saving the landfills from that.. But seriously, In america EVERYTHING is plastic. Lots of it. Lots and lots, Syringes are nothing
 
I'm not sure what's been in the water that's causing so many people to be negative and hostile lately, but it's getting old. This is the internet, and there's no reason to take anything personally, or be disagreeable with each other.

I'd appreciate it if everyone could take it down a few notches, and remember that ultimately we're all here for the same reasons, and can share our thoughts and experiences a lot more positively if we just take a moment to step back and put things in perspective. We can still have fun, even poke fun, but it's important to remember where you are, who you're "talking" to, and perhaps most importantly, to "read the room".
