What depth were you stamping at? I haven't done it myself, but I was under the impression you would set the depth shallow enough to no get deep enough to hit blood vessels. I could be totally wrong though.

I apply as a serum. I'm always telling people at work my hair isn't greasy, it's a hair treatment.

Can I ask, are you using Everclear? I can't find anything labeled ethanol in pharmacies here in Florida, and it's illegal to sell Everclear. I made it a point to buy a small bottle of Everclear when I was in Delaware, but I haven't used it yet.

I can't answer for Youarewhen obviously, but I don't see why full strength Everclear wouldn't work. It is 190 proof after all.

My understanding is that alcohol is a better carrier for AHK-Cu, superior to HA or water. Apparently an ethanol-based solution penetrates the top layer of skin better. But this was based on a conversation with ChatGPT. It suggested ethanol specifically, but I ended up using 90% isopropyl alcohol since I couldn't find ethanol, and it considered this to be a workable option. I also added propylene glycol, following the recipe it gave me.

I will say that alcohol solutions and microneedling do not play well together in the same session--there's quite a sting.

Yeah I was kind of hoping I could find something labeled ethanol here in South Florida that might be cheaper and more convenient than a liquor store in a different state. Georgia is a long drive!

I'd even settle for denatured ethanol, the kind where they add a bitter taste to prevent you from drinking it. I was hesitant to buy the product called "Fuel" in the Home Depot paint department. I believe it's denatured ethanol, but seeing it next to the paint strippers didn't quite sit right with me.
