I just got some Reta delivered and the suppler/manufacturer was listed as PXA. I can't find anything. So, has anyone heard of them?

Phoenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PXA) - maybe

  • Who they are: A highly prominent US manufacturer specializing in custom peptide synthesis, radioimmunoassay (RIA) kits, and enzyme immunoassay (EIA/ELISA) kits for scientific research. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • Why the acronym?: In global laboratory networks, custom compound databases, and specific internal inventory manifests, they are often abbreviated as PXA or PX to distinguish them from other peptide vendors.
  • ----or------
Gemini says:

  • The PXA factory is an industry shorthand code used to identify an unauthorized, unlicensed chemical manufacturing facility—predominantly located in industrial chemical parks across China (such as the massive biotech hubs near Shanghai and Suzhou). [1]

Because Retatrutide is still an experimental drug patented by Eli Lilly and is not FDA-approved for public use, any facility manufacturing and selling it under a "PXA" code is operating as a shadow factory. [1, 2, 3]

    1. How the PXA Factory System Works
    • The "Gray Market" Supply Chain: Legitimate pharmaceutical companies do not sell raw Retatrutide powder in small vials to consumers. To meet the high public demand generated by Phase 3 clinical trial results, overseas chemical synthesis plants (the PXA factory network) manufacture the raw peptide. [1, 2, 3, 4]
    • Acronym Disguises: These facilities do not use real corporate names on packaging to shield themselves from international patent laws and regulatory crackdowns. Instead, they apply simple three-letter batch tracking abbreviations like PXA, QSC, or BXC. [1]
    • The Domestic Re-Branding: Western "research chemical" websites buy these unbranded vials in bulk from the PXA factory, import them disguised as raw chemical reagents, and sell them directly to consumers online
