Hi everyone! 👋

I’m 41/F, based in Perth, Australia.

Started my GLP-1 journey after having my baby, initially on semaglutide. I lost 20 kg and managed to maintain that for about a year. I had ongoing issues with pharmacy supply, and with Wegovy being so expenno, I was reluctant to increase my dose and eventually I stopped altogether which resulted in my progress stalling and weight creeping back on slightly.

About 9 weeks ago I made the switch to reta, and my partner decided to join me on the journey too. I started on 0.5 mg and have gradually worked up to 5 mg weekly.

So far I’ve lost almost 10 kg. I’ve had minimal side effects, just fatigue but tbh it’s a combo of parenting, peri, low iron. Focusing on protein, caloric deficit and looking to add resistance training into my routine soon.

I still have another 20–30 kg I’d like to lose, but I’m feeling really confident that I’ll get there.

I’m only just dipping my toe into the world of grey, and it’s become my latest fixation. I’m ready to pull the pin and work on building a little stash!😂

As an elder millennial I’m probably most anxious about the crypto side of things but I’m learning so much from the experiences shared here and at STG.

I’ve been lurking for a while and absolutely love all the knowledge and advice everyone shares, so I thought it was finally time to introduce myself, and join in.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning from everyone’s experiences!

Great to see another person based in Perth.

Glad to see you've made it onto this Forum. This place is a wealth of information, usually without the vitriol of Reddit, and without the promotion and scamminess of some Facebook groups.

I've been also fixated on building up a stash. Peps have changed my life.
