Hi everyone, 44M from London. I’ve trained all my life, including professionally as a dancer, and I’m currently around 72kg at 5’11”. I’m reasonably lean but have always carried stubborn belly, flank and back fat.

I have Hashimoto’s and take T4 + T3, as well as dealing with chronic pain and inflammation from fibromyalgia which limits how hard I can train.

I’m new to GLP-1s and here to learn from others’ experiences, particularly around fat loss, muscle preservation and training with thyroid/inflammation issues. Looking forward to learning from everyone!

Welcome!

I’m fairly new to peptides myself, but in researching them one that caught my eye was 5-Amino-1MQ. I can lean out quite a bit too, but this compound might be useful in reducing the size of adipose tissue cells, which sounds pretty unique to me.

Again, no expert, but worth looking into!

Regarding your exercise restrictions due to fibromyalgia. Can you use stationary cardio machines like bikes or rowers? You can get a mean workout on these both steady state and intervals that drive some wonderful physiological adaptations.
