The journey has been incredible so far. I'm currently down 70 pounds from where I started.Braxy007 said:
How’s your journey going so far? I’m switching from tirz to Reta soon, hoping for less appetite suppression and to maintain more muscle. What made you switch?

I have some friends who just had a similar experience with TRT after fertility issues, it sounds rough! Sorry you went through all that but glad the Reta has helped so much.TxAgg09 said:

I switched to reta primarily because of its muscle-retention benefits, and honestly, that's when the real magic started happening.
For context, I'm also on TRT and have used MOTS-C intermittently throughout this journey. I've always been a pretty active person—a former college athlete who has generally stayed in good shape.
A few years ago, my wife and I were trying to have another child. Since I was on TRT, I was prescribed several additional medications to help counter its effects on fertility. Unfortunately, those medications caused me to gain about 70 pounds in just six months, and nearly 100 pounds overall.
Once I stopped those medications and went back to my normal TRT protocol, losing the weight and getting back to where I had been physically was much harder than I expected.
Reta has been an absolute game changer for me. It's helped me make progress that had felt out of reach for a long time, while allowing me to hold onto the muscle I'd worked so hard to build.

We were in Texas prior to moving to SLC in 2011. Love the mountains here, but we miss Texas dearly.jailbird said:
So I have to ask, were you in TX before or after Utah?

I completely understand! I grew up in Phoenix, and when I lived in Texas, it was weird not seeing mountains!TxAgg09 said:
