Hi everyone! I’m new here and joined because I’m trying to learn more about GLP-1s, peptides, weight loss, and overall metabolic health.

I’ve had experience with GLP-1 medications, but weight loss has still been a struggle, so I’m interested in learning what has worked for others and hearing about different experiences and approaches. Currently on mounjaro drs rx to help lower A1c

I have been on prescription medications for major depression for nearly two decades. Being on medications long-term has made me more conscious of my overall health, especially my liver. My grandmother passed away from cirrhosis related to fatty liver disease, so protecting my metabolic and liver health is something I genuinely think about.

I’m not looking to blindly replace my prescriptions or self-treat. I’m here to educate myself, learn about options supported by research, and hear from people w/real-world experience. Affordability is important to me as well.

Looking forward to learning from everyone, asking questions, and sharing my own experiences along the way😊 thanks for maybe reading this short novel haha

Tirzepatide is pretty effective for most people. Couple tirz with some light exercises and then watch your nutrition. You can get there.

Totally agree! I was on Sem when it first hit the market and did nothing... Once I went on Triz the weight dropped off like crazy! 6 months and nearly 40 lbs gone!!

40 pounds is wonderful.

When I started, I was at that point where my body just wanted to hold onto every pound. Diets no longer worked. Exercise no longer worked. Typical results of early Insulin Resistance.

Now I have found that if I keep hydrated, keep improving my nutrition, and attempt to move more.... that the weight loss process works much better.

I can actually stall progress by simply getting dehydrated.

Thanks! I’ve been meal prepping and increased protein. 14-16 hour fast almost every day. Maybe it’s the lovely perimenopause stuff us women have to go through 😣

Hello and welcome! I am here because I have the start of fatty liver, so I know the time is now to give this a go and take it seriously. My father is suffering from stomach-related issues, partially due to unhealthy addictions to food his entire life, and I would love to not have that same issue as I get older.
