It is a fire extinguisher

That last paragraph hit me hard. I felt the same way 6 months ago. Keep at it and I think you will notice the physical improvements, and a bonus, you will improve your mental game, too. You will get motivated and truly enjoy getting your life back. You got this. Stay motivated!

This is the fourth day almost 92 hours after my first injection, the damn thing started to wear off, I noticed that once I woke up this morning I didn’t feel hungry yet, but my body feels sore, migraines and pain in the extremities are back, I feel much heavier sort of speak.

This reminds me of the old days when I used to left weight, do I need to go back to the gym?

How do you keep this feeling of physical strength, mental clarity and motivation going on for longer periods? I feel like I need another shot right away

Join a gym, and go at least 3 times a week. You are on your way to much better health. Stop worrying so much, and enjoy your transformation.

Just in case you are thinking about having extra doses so soon, I would suggest being very careful. look up glp plotter , you can put your dose in and it will show you a graph of what blood levels of the drug do over time, it makes it easier to understand. But at any dose, blood levels will keep going up for 4 weeks until they level out, which is why you are meant to wait 4 weeks to increase the dose.

The reason not to increase doses faster is side effects, most people get at least some nausea , but vomiting, diarhoea and constipation are also very common, increasing doses more quickly makes it more likely you will get hit with more sudden severe side effects. At this point never having taken any glp before I am not going to suggest you try anything other than wait.

Sorry so late to reply. I do remember some bumps in the road when I started the first couple or so months. The problems were not enough for me to quit and I am glad I didn't. I was already miserable and did the stubborn man thing and pushed through. With that said, there is a fine line between suck it up and an actual medical concern. Read as much as you can about the med so you can differentiate between the two. Learn yourself, too. I don't know what you are going through but I am rooting for you. I want you to be a success story so you can encourage others in the future, so you can have limited pain and happy with your life.

That’s the most encouraging reply I got so far, I am glad for your advice, everything you said is well noted.

I had my second dose on the sixth day, I guess the medicine or at this stage I shall call it elixir has worn off and my body needed another dose, two hours later I felt it through my body, one more hour later pain through out my body disappeared!

Two days ago I started taking glucose readings at home, my morning readings are around 80s and after two hours of food is around 140s which matches my pre-diabetic situation, I guess I will continue taking readings daily until I finish one month on mounjaro then discuss it with my doctor.

today marks my 16th day on Mounjaro, my psoriasis is at the lowest since I took Covid-19 vaccine, my energy is back I feel already younger, I get out of bed in less than 30 seconds! But I have pain on my right side below the ribs, I am at ER right now, just had Paracetamol and painkillers cocktail 🍸

The ER doctor asked me if I took mounjaro and for how long, it seems he knows…

I don’t regret taking mounjaro, I guess I did this to myself I just enjoyed not craving food, I went down from 237lb to 225lb in 15 days

I'm glad you're having it checked out.

But I get similar pains when I lose some weight (by any means) and/or my belly-area organs shrink, and so my rib cage contracts to fit. And, unfortunately, again when I bloat up some time later.

Thank you, I appreciate your kindness.

I am out of the ER, it seems my liver is working overtime processing fat out of it, doctor prescribed me Duspatalin Retard and sent me home.

Your ribcage does WHAT???? Say sike right now, because I can't be happy in a world where my ribcage could change sizes.

Shift around a tiny bit, not change sizes. So you can be happy.
