I have been on low dose tirz, 2.5 for four weeks and 3mg for 3 weeks. Well, this week, the scale has gone UP a pound and I have been exercising and in a calorie deficit every day. From Aug 5th to now I have gained a pound and it doesnt make ANY sense because I should have lost 5 with my diet/calorie burn from workouts.

Again, my worry is I am not eating ENOUGH calories, but with that, I still should be losing. So, I will do my last week of 3 and hope that I see a change in the scale soon (though Im going on vacation this week and will be dining out a good bit)

I wanted to lose low and slow, but I dont like that number going up ( granted, it's not 5 lbs, so probs water/ (intestinal) retention (TMI). But damn! Cmon fat, just go away!!!!! Id jab 3.5 this week, but my appetite is like GONE still on the low dose and I dont wanna wreck my girly trip with my daughters.

Lowest Tirz doses are really only meant to get your system acclimated to the med, the real action starts higher up. Yes, I know, lots of SM folks post about never leaving low dose, losing 1000 pounds anyway, yada yada. Doesn't cancel out what the clinical studies showed.

My reddit adventured only lasted three months before it was just too sad.

The number of people who are not losing weight, many at very low doses, who then have 1500 people telling them to wait until their "stall" is at least a month before they ever consider doing anything, or who tell them not losing weight for months means they need to eat more is so depressing. I couldn't watch it anymore.

I have titrated up when I felt diminishing returns. I have tracked calories every single day. I have eaten in a deficit almost every single day, and every week since January. I have lost weight every single week since January. I do not feel deprived.

Even with grey pricing now, I'm still not going to waste money by not doing everything that I can to cooperate with these meds.

Exercise, particularly heavy exercise, will have you retaining water. Make sure you hydrate, electrolytes, and give yourself some easy days, but if it lasts more than a week or two, you have to reexamine calories.

Thanks all, I know im not alone here! Im gonna give it a week at same dose just bc of vaca and more eating out, but then after that, I will probs increase dose bc there is no point in doing 15 mile hilly bike rides, adding strength training workouts, AND dieting if I am not gonna lose! I dont think I can lower calories, im probs at like 1200 a day and my rides are burning a lot of those. But, I did lose 10 (but now 9 lbs) so I cant complain. And yeah, maybe I AM gaining muscle from the rides now (and my legs needed more muscle, so I will take it if thats the case!)
