Threw up twice this week.

Both reta and cagri have pretty high rates of nausea and vomiting , around 50% of people will get varying degrees of it from either of them. The only study showing cagri with anything else was cagrisema, which had very high rates of nausea and vomiting. So increasing doses of reta could be responsible, but adding cagri on top is even more likely. What you have is at the very mild end of the spectrum of side effects. If you cannot fix the problem by physical means , like eating less at a time and reducing drinks with food to limit gastric filling, then you might have to drop back on doses a bit for a while, but this side effect does typically get better slowly over time. Curious as to why you added cagri in a such a low reta dose, rather than just increase reta?

I wasn't aware that my Reta dose was particularly low at 14 weeks. I keep reading about people that are 3x my dose and I'd prefer to keep all mgs down to the bare minimum needed. Cagri seemed a good choice, since the dosages are fairly low (especially as compared to Reta), and I think I almost nailed the balance, except I went up too much too fast, due to pure ignorance. The same stack with .25mg cagri was money, I had no idea that an additional .25mg would be a nuclear bomb, especially since i stack a ton of peptides daily/weekly and I have exactly zero side effects, until this one.

It stands to reason, that if I go down to .2 cagri, I should be right back to totally fine, and then I can wait and see how my hunger feels about it.

I got some Cagril 10 just to have it on hand...a 10mg vial seemed like a lot for the kind of doses I would use, but it'll live in the tool box until I think it might help get over a hump or whatever...I'm with you though 250mcg may be too much...😳

Every other peptide I've used, if you accidentally over do it or under do it, no big deal. Cag however, is a very big deal and will absolutely blow up a couple days of your life with its unforgiving profile. Too much klow bpc, AD5, Mots, kpv, kp, dsip, no big deal.

I was just curious as to the reason for using both, rather than increasing reta. I think there are good theoretical reasons for combining fairly lowish doses of reta or tirz with cagri or elora, as it might be the optimal combination for lowest rates of side effects for highest weight loss. With reta 1mg 9% and elora 1mg 9% weight loss, and reta 4mg 19% elora 3mg 13% weight loss- if the results are additive it could be amazing. I am on cagri 0.25 mg every 4 days ( with tirz15/reta5mg) and any attempts at higher doses definitely increase nausea. I could not find the complete cagri studies, just the abstracts when I tried to find accurate side effect rates.

I threw up my first week on tirz, 2.5mg (I'm drug sensitive)...had bad hiccups...acid reflux...The acid reflux stayed with me the first 2-3 weeks, mostly at night. I took Tums a lot. I went up to 5mg after 4 weeks and 7.5mg after 12 weeks. No stomach issues at all now. The body adjusts to it, but I also started on BPC-157 and KPV, and I think they have helped a lot with the digestion problems...At any rate, the symptoms do get better pretty quickly....GL!

Interested in your use of KPV and BPC-157 for digestion problems. Would you mind sharing the doses you're using?

I judge my GLP1 dose effectiveness on nausea. If I'm slightly nauseous after 2-3 days I'm on the right does. Not nauseous, too low of a dose. Raging nausea too much.

Nausea is a strong deterrent for not eating.

That sounds horribly familiar to my year of taking ozempic where I ended up on 0.22mg every second day as that was enough to reduce hunger a bit without too much nausea. Thankfully other glp drugs seem to do a better job for me with less nausea. I think the idea is almost exactly correct in terms of the right dose, but ideally you want to dial it back ten percent and hopefully keep most of the appetite control with less of the nausea or switch to twice weekly dosing.

That is how my tirz dosing goes...2nd, 3rd day after pin, I get a bit of burping and am a little 'urpy' at night. One or two Tums and I can go back to sleep knowing I am at a good dose level. Food noise during the day is just at a low hum. Hunger is there, but not shouting at me, and if I eat a few baby carrots, or a handful of nuts, I feel satiated. I do a Friday/Monday pin...Friday pin gets me through the weekend with minimum food interest, and the Monday pin has an overlap boost to the Friday pin that carries me through the week...rinse and repeat...
