Up to 2018 and early 2019, I was in good to very good shape.
Active every day, no body fat percentage, no health problems of any kind.
End of 2019 moving into the end of 2020, I pretty much stopped exercises, lost any definition to abdominal muscles (got fat), lost muscle definition in general;
And for the first time I noticed intolerances to certain chemicals emerged. Melanotan 2 was the first to give me side effects.
I modified my diet slightly and lost some weight, but didn't recommence exercise.
But over all my diet still consisted of lots of sugar and refined carbs.
Tinnitus emerged at the start of 2022, along with sinusitis, and dermatitis.
Decreased tolerance to other chemicals followed to the point of having to discontinue melanotan entirely as it was now, for the first time, affecting my mood.
I had used it for years when in good shape with zero side effects.
As of the last couple months I've started to get back in shape. Now, I've always looked okay, but my mid section in particular is just padded.
I assume that's visceral fat, the insidious kind, and the one notorious for contributing to inflammation.
I'm curious whether, as I progress with getting back in good physical health via return to regular exercise, inflammatory symptoms will subside.

What is Visceral Fat?
Health Risks
- Hidden fat: It sits deep inside your belly, unlike subcutaneous fat which you can pinch right under your skin.
Main Causes
- Type 2 diabetes: Stops your body from using insulin the right way.
- Heart disease: Raises your blood pressure and blood cholesterol, which can block your blood vessels.
- Bad diet: Eating lots of sugar, refined carbs, and processed foods.
- No exercise: Sitting too much and not burning enough energy.
- High stress: Stress makes your body release a hormone called cortisol, which tells your body to store fat in the belly.
