Age: 29

Weight: 139.4 kg (307 lbs) -> 110.2 kg (243 lbs)

Height: 6'1"

Body Fat % (BIA Scales): 42% -> 29.1% - obviously don't take these readings seriously

Waist (belly button): 48" -> 43"

Commencement / 1st pin: March 16th 2026, 2 mg, split dose

Titration Schedule: Accelerated (4 mg after 2 weeks, 8 mg after 4 weeks, 12 mg after 5 weeks, transitioned to single weekly dose at week 6)

My lifestyle did a 180, so I can't say this progress is entirely attributable to reta. For instance, after a decade of chain smoking, I quit cold turkey 341 days ago (yes, I'm tracking 😅), so obviously there's a ton of repair going on in the background that'll obscure what's coming from what.

What's more, I intend to continue refining/adding lifestyle measures, making it even more tricky to see what reta is doing going forward.

That said, whilst the appetite suppression does not feel as I expected, my recorded calorie intake (using Snap Calorie religiously to track for the past 64 days) seems to suggest that I'm responding.

Again, tricky to separate whether this is due to tracking-induced cognizance of calorie intake, leading to a reduction, or if the suppression is quelling the food noise enough to make a low-calorie day bearable; also, stepping on the scales daily upon waking, so whether these results are yielded more from behavioural changes vs. substance use is tough to tell.

Diet:

Not hitting my macros (largely a protein deficiency), but I've shifted to predominantly eating whole foods. My disgust towards processed shit seems to have skyrocketed, and I can only think to correlate this with the reta. Then again, it's tough to hit macros when I'm regularly doing ~800 calories daily. I fucked up buying 5 kg of chocolate whey powder from Bulk, but I can hardly yak it down since starting reta; going for unflavoured next time.

Supplements & Other Meds:

Healthspan Multivitamin Gold x 1 pill

Nutrition Geeks Vitamin D3 4000 iu & Vitamin K2 100μg x 1 pill

Nutravita Omega 3 Fish Oil 2000 mg capsules w/ 660 mg EPA & 440 mg DHA x 2 capsules

WeightWorld NAC 600 mg x 2 capsules

SportsSupplies Magnesium Glycinate providing 315 mg Elemental Magnesium & Vitamin B6 x 2 capsules

Nutrition Geeks Creatine Monohydrate x 3 scoops (~15 grams)

Dutasteride 0.5 mg x 1 capsule

Minoxidil 2.5 mg x 1 pill

Fitness:

Heavily modified GZCLP 3-day program (only retaining the T1 & T2 movements, rep schema, and periodization; otherwise giant sets/circuits for T3s with less bodybuilding focus and more functional work using ATG standards, isometrics, kb stuff, etc.), ran on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, roughly 100 mins start to finish. Home gym.

I was using the Boostcamp app to track, but I've been neglecting it, as the free version doesn't let you enter more than a couple custom T3s; need to get back to it and maybe purchase the subscription.

That's pretty much it, other than steps. I didn't want to stack a bunch of training modalities instantly to avoid burnout, but this will be expanded significantly i.e. dedicated zone 4/5 cardio, etc.

Wow, awesome progress! Super encouraging to hear. Also I love that your d3 supp has k2 with it. So many people don't know k2 is essential for d3 absorption and take d3 alone with little to no effect.

Wow. Your doing great. Your the perfict example of jumping in with both feat. Normally i would say your dropping wieght to fast, but not in your case. Your hitting it hard from all angles at once.

do you have a goal weight?

do you have a plan on which of these major lifestyle changes you are backing off, once you have reached your goal? With how great your Doing, your exit strategy will come into play soon.

Ty!

I'd agree actually. I know I dropped the weight too fast, but I'm a little reckless, and I enjoy taking pointless risks. Don't tend to do things in moderation.

When you say exit strategy, I'm guessing you mean calorie intake and reta use? I wanna get to 12% bf (arbitrary), so when it comes to diet, that's when I'd switch to a maintenance calorie intake, dial in the macros, etc.

I don't plan to come off the reta though... I think I'm gonna play around and try to find my minimum effective dose (which I didn't do during the titration because I rushed it), maybe mess around with spacing the doses out to every 2 weeks.

I've heard of therapeutic effects from glp1s that are completely independent of weight-related stuff. For instance, chondroprotection, tendon matrix remodeling, and general anti-inflammatory effects.

Don't wanna miss out on that.

Sounds like we have the same type of plan.

Exit stragity, to me, means whatever you are planning to switch up once your there. For a lot of people I assume that means no more glp's. But I'm with you. I will likely be on reta, to some capacity for ever. For the same reason you listed. I plan on keeping the exercise keeping the reta and probably add things back into my diet.

Your doing great, thank you for sharing

Well done. Rate of weight loss will drop off as your weight gets closer to target, unless you drop calories further, which might not be ideal in terms of how tolerable the process is. Pretty similar to me losing 6kg/month for the first 55kg or so from 145 to 90kg, then it started to slow down.

But I was not on reta and not doing much exercise, both will help to maintain energy expenditure as weight goes down

BMi of 25 at 6' is about 80kg, assuming that is somewhere near what you are aiming for or 59kg less or about 44% down from 135kg. That is more than the average result from the best reta study of 29%, but given you are doing pretty well so far you may well still get there before the plateau happens, and you can work out what to do then.

Amazing, well done 👍

What was your weight loss trajectory from when you started? How quickly did it start dropping off?

Thanks!

I wasn't tracking consistently last year, but I've got some entries, for instance, as low as 126.2 kg on November 22nd 2025.

Now, I quit smoking in the summer (mid-August) of last year, and I definitely put on significant weight, though I don't have numbers; I think it's safe to assume I was below 120 kg before I quit.

My weight peaked in March this year, at 139.4 kg, which was the month I started the reta.

In the line graph I uploaded, you can see my weight trending upwards since last year, though there are no records for January or February, and it precipitously begins to drop month-on-month from that time.

Cheers mate.

Congrats to you too! 55 kg without a glp1 must've been tough.

Ye, fully expecting to hit a plateau sooner rather than later. Will cross that bridge when I get there...

Thanks mate, the smoking is one I also need to tackle! I have done it before but a while back. I need to wait until my weight is something like, as I have a tendency to go balls out and try and fix everything at once, then inevitably fail at all of them 😆
