Anyone else get weirdly into tracking their progress?

I purchased a cheap Amazon 8 point scale and weigh myself daily. It connects to my phone for tracking and provides unlimited interesting numbers. Weighing daily is fascinating watching how the body works. I just had 5 days where there was zero movement. Then 5 straight days of a good loss. I don't take any day too serious. I watch the long term trend graph and am always happy.

You guys weigh daily? That would drive me nuts. I've done it as I have a friend who does, one day I'm this, next day I'm that and so on. I do Friday mornings about the same time. I have a Renpho Elis 2X that track all on my phone as well.

I used the Notes app on my phone and created a Peptides note with separate sub folders for each pepper. In those sub folders I put the recon and dosing info. There is a folder for scale where I track my weight and BMI. There is a folder for pins where I track my weekly pins (mg and units). Once it was set up I only have to make entries once a week to update my weight. I can't stand the daily scale fluctuations so I only weigh in once a week, on my Tirz day. Keeping myself to the once weekly weigh in is my way of incorporating this into my new lifestyle, accepting this new normal, and not letting this journey consume me and control my day to day meals and movement. The stack has controlled my need to snack, reduced portion size and I want to fuel my body accordingly. I eat what I want and move how I want and I am happy without the food noise. Woo Sah muthafuckas.

What your dashboard look like? And you prefer Gemini, I found it made all kinds of assumptions and almost seemed lazy compared to Claude.

My dashboard pulls in the big metrics (for me) from my all data sheet which are most recent blood sugar, A1c, weight, body fat, visceral fat, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL, all with a red or green arrow indicating improvement or decline since last measurement.

Yeah it obviously doesn’t go down everyday but I like the reminder to get the day going. Three days in a row I’ve weighed lower in a row. -1, -.5, -.5 for 2lbs over the 3 days. Down 8.2lbs over last 15 days. Reta is great lol. I do workout everyday 1 hour cardio plus 21 heavy sets.

l hear you but I initially lost a few pounds then gained some weight due to adding in gh. My strength is up too so I know I won’t continue losing at this pace overall I’m only down 12.4lbs since June 16th. I’m taking 5.5ius gh daily and 225mg Test Cyp/week prescribed TRT.

I used a "lose it" for years and I loved it as far as tracking food, macros and exercise.

I too use LoseIt! For tracking weight…I’ve been tracking with varying regularity for ~11 years now. It’s really interesting to me to see the fluctuations because for all the up-slopes, I can tie them directly to stressful events in my life. Bad jobs, injuries, selling house. I sprung for the lifetime membership and don’t regret it! When I did track food and macros, I found it super intuitive and loved all the features for recipes, saving my commonly eaten foods etc.

Unlike most folks here, I am not into a lot of personal data tracking. I wish I was because I love data, and I love seeing other people’s!…but it can fuel ED behaviors for me. I weigh myself on shot day and usually 1-3 days beforehand so I can mentally prepare for my “official” weekly weight, which I track in Shotsy, the G app, Lose It, my old Mochi App (which keeps just a list vs a chart, and is good for easy access to my straight numbers). I keep track of monthly weight loss in my massive multi-sheet Peptide spreadsheet, where I also track purchases and testing results, reality losses vs projections, wishlists, inventory, dosages/cycles/price per cycles or months, resources, and a bunch of other stuff!

I also take pics of so much! Vials and kits received, my label projects, pep accessories, 3D prints for peps, recons and of course 9,000 screen shots of purchase receipts, GB payment proof etc. I took maybe 100 pics between Jan and May, but since starting peptides I have dozens of pics a week. 🙂📸
