Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride-Compatible Compounds

I attempted to recon oxytocin for nasal use using 0.9% sterile saline. It gelled up. Granted, this was not saline BAC. It is one I would be very careful with.

I have made a few IN sprays of oxytocin at this point and haven't had any issues with it thus far. Mine didn't gel or go cloudy. Weird. I just used straight saline designed for nasal sprays. I forget the NaCl percentage.

Any findings on Maz? I have looked sporadically and havent found anything. I have a kit in the freezer and BAC NaCl on the way. I will gladly mix a vial if someone can tell me what all to look for. I think after 60 days is degradation becomes a problem with Maz(I will double check) so I can keep in the fridge and document findings.

I haven’t personally seen any accounts of reconstituting Maz with BAC saline. I’m sorry. If you try it, please let us know!

I reconned KPV and GHK-Cu with BAC saline a few days ago and everything is still crystal clear, so I’m adding KPV to the list. As a reminder, the list is solely based on reported user experiences.

Reportedly Compatible with BAC NaCl:

  • GHK-Cu
  • SS-31
  • MOTS-C
  • Tirz (this is probably the largest reported peptide used with BAC SC)
  • Sema
  • Glutathione
  • Tox
  • NAD+
  • ARA-290
  • KPV
Reportedly Incompatible with BAC NaCl:

  • Reta (big NO NO on this one!)
  • Tesa
  • CJC
  • Ipa
  • Tirz or Sema with improper finishing/too many TFA salts

have you injected and is the GHK less spicy?

I don’t have a good indication of whether or not that changed because I added GHK basic to it, which mitigates the pain associated with the GHK-Cu for me. I should have taken one dose before adding the basic to test that, but alas, I didn’t think about it. Next time!

I tried Hospira BAC SC with SS31, great results and injections smoother than regular BAC. I reconned with KPV, also great. I reconned with BPC (AI claimed it should be okay, so it has to be, lol) and no dice, cloudy and gelled up right away. Same batch of BPC with regular BAC and all good. BPC on the left with SC, KPV with SC in middle, BPC with regular BAC on right.

The BPC... Any chance you tested the BAC SC pH? I wonder if acetic acid would help. Also, how much ml/mg since sometimes gel happens when tthe concentration is too high and might just be pushed to the limits because of the sodium chloride.

I want to find out if KLOW will work but don't have enough onhand to be willing to sacrifice one to the trash if things go wrong.

I didn't test the ph of the SC because Hospira is pretty reliably in range, but I do have strips and will and report back. I always use 1ml with bpc157 as it makes dosing easy and never had an issue (peps like Tesa I'll use 2.5ml and pay closer attention to ph). The 1ml of non SC Hospira worked great per usual. I didn't think at the time to try adding more SC to the mix because I was already unsure if it would work and it turned to gel so fast. I don't want to waste another vial right now or I would try again to see. Experimenting is fun, lol, if I just had unlimited supply of everything!

This is an excellent report! Thank you so much for testing all of these. I’m sorry it cost you a vial of BPC, but am super appreciative of you trying it!

I am sure @faloppi got it right, but I am at the end of a BB blend vial that was reconned with regular Hospira BAC...and this weekend I am going to recon a vial of BPC with saline BAC just to see what I get...BPC is sorta central to a lot of blends I am interested in trying with saline BAC...and that would be disappointing...I will report back...
