Cag vial lifetime

The wife just started Cag. She just pinned dose 2 and is doing it at 250mcg weekly 3 days after her reta dose. It is a 5mg vial. If she used it until gone it would last a long time. My research suggests that it should get binned after 4 or 5 weeks. Is that the consensus with the other researchers or are you storing and using for a longer duration than 4 or 5 weeks since the dosing is so small? We typically err on the side of caution with the whole fibril degradation issue, not to mention possibly bacterial growth. The bacterial growth with it being pinned once per week doesn't seem to come into play as much as the fibril issue might.
 
I think for Cag, for longer term storage, the recon liquid is important. Acetic Acid helps stabilize it beyond the 30 day mark (according to Peppedia) but as far as how much longer you get or how to add it in there once reconned, I am not sure. I haven't delved into RS with Cag yet, although I have an interest.

Hoping someone here knows so I can learn too 🙂
 
I use Hospira and I will go through a bottle of that in about a month. This bottle I used for that recon happened to be a brand new bottle of Hospira. I did not use any AA. The vial reconned clear and so far has remained clear for the 2 weeks.
