I was searching the forum and noticed on other posts that some people experience a change in temperature. I noticed that too and had wondered if I was the only one. I usually run hot most of the time but when I was on Mounjaro for over a year I noticed that I would get colder easier. Then I was cut off of my Mounjaro for 4 months due to insurance and I would run hot again, but now I am back on Tirzepatide and once again I notice the temperature change.

It works nicely for me because my wife is always cold. So we were running our AC at 78 degrees or I would be sweating and my wife would be covered up in a blanket all the time. Now that this change has come upon me again I can deal with the AC being on 79 and be comfortable. My wife occasionally uses the blanket still but it has made it a little more compatible temperature wise and I don't have to hear her constantly saying "it's so cold it is in here". This is a good side effect for me.
 
I have been the coldest I’ve been in my life since starting Tirzepatide. I’m a little nervous for winter because I still get cold when it’s over 80 at the moment
 
For me, it’s been an issue for the last 15 pounds of loss. I live in the south, so I know for a fact it is NOT cold anywhere around here in August. And yet, I usually have a blanket most mornings and evenings now.

It’s metabolic. We know this. Just one big energy balance. But it’s still weird.
 
Yes, absolutely! Talked about often. I can’t stand cold air now, but I can be outside when it’s 90 and it feels pretty good, so I guess that a benefit.
 
Same here. I started reta in March and it just seemed like the summer heat wasn't as oppressive here in Bama. I guess it's just me. I don't get cold at work, but when I walk outside in the heat I notice how good the air conditioner is working.

Reta does the same, and it started back in April on 6mg.

Yeah, but they smell like goats from sweating in those. It' a look per my 14 year old grandson.

When I started back up on Tirzepatide I felt the temperature difference before I lost any weight
 
Reta's got me freezing!! It's 100 degrees here and I keep clicking off the a/c. I thought my thermostat had to be glitching until I realized it's just me 😬 but I'm not mad about saving on my energy bill. Less money to bills = more money to peptides
 
I think when you're in caloric deficit your body saves on heating, and you get colder. Or when you're already in maintenance - there is a lot less insulation...

Did not happen during maintenance. But it is also not such a big weight loss during maintenance. You can adapt yourself easily
 
This has been an issue for me but it only started after I titrated up to 5mg (where I'm still at now). I'm about eight weeks into tirz and I've been at 5mg for the past four shots, only started getting chilly in the last 2-3 weeks.
 
Yes, I have very cold hands and feet! It was 'worse' during the first few weeks of reta, now I mainly notice it the first few days after pinning.
 
Definitely cold while losing. It's a normal and expected effect. I got myself some electric slippers and a nice sweater... I LIVED in them for months. I've been in maintenance 6 months now, and it has resolved. Now I have more tolerance for hot weather than I did when I weighed 55 lbs more.
