Hi. I am confused by what I read about this peptide. Seeking your experience and input on this. First, is CJC 1295 (“CJC”) always mixed w ipamorelin? Any details would be appreciated. Second, what does it mean to take this “fasted”? How many hours after or before eating should this be taken? Fwiw, I am a 65 y.o. Female also on tirz (going to add Reta to get the last 10 lbs off) and NAD +. Many thanks for all input.

It comes both mixed and by itself. Fasting means at least two hours after a meal and not eating anything for at least 30 minutes after taking it.

CJC is often combined with Ipa because they both are synergistic.

You can buy both seperate or as blends, typical blends are 5mg cjc/5mg ipa or 10/10.

If you are on GLP1 like Tirz/Reta you should not eat 2-3 hours before taking CJC/Ipa/Tesa.

Thanks you all! That is super helpful. Follow up question, given the synergistic effect w ipa and CJC, is it more effective to inject both? Again, really appreciate your experience and input.

Most Users go with CJC (no dac) + Ipa as a Blend. It is probaly more effective to use both.

I use a 5/5 blend since 2 months, got some good progress so far but cant tell if its from the CJC+Ipa or something else.

Typical dosing is 100-250mg of each substance. Dose can be split between moring/evening but most people go for 1 dose before bed.

Consider morning dose rather than evening since you are on Tirzepitide. I saw no effect of CJC/IPA until I switched to morning dosing. I think insulin was negating the secretagogues even 3 hours after a meal when on Reta and I found it inconvenient to eat earlier or sleep later.

Agree with above, morning dose if you are on a GLP-1. You can check your igf-1 score before you start and after 4-6 weeks on it to see how much it is helping. I would go with the blend as well.

CJC and IPA signal will be blunted if insulin is high, which can happen after a high carb meal.

But because you are on a GLP1 which slows your gastric emptying, I don't believe you will see significant insulin spikes. So CJC/IPA before bed is optimal, but as some have said first thing in the morning is also ok.

You are right. With the glp1s slowing gastric empyting, someone might have to wait closer to 6 hours to truly be fasted. If not fasted and cjc/ipa is injected, it's basically just wasted.

Morning would be the only time someone on a glp1 is truly fasted to get the most bang from this peptide. And it's all about getting to bang.

Just my 2 cents.

Even a small amount of insulin blunts the GH spike. And its not just carbs that are a problem. Even pure protein will have negative effect. And the GLP-1 just extends the problem window.

The evidence doesn’t support the idea that any insulin rise completely blunts GH secretion. Human studies show that protein meals increase insulin and still stimulate GH release. Comprehensive physiology reviews identify hyperglycaemia and carbohydrate-rich meals as much stronger inhibitors of GH than physiological insulin elevations alone. In other words, avoiding a large high-carb meal before CJC/Ipamorelin is reasonable, but there’s little evidence that a normal protein meal abolishes the GH response. I'm wondering how high is too high though? My blood sugar never goes under 110.

The clinical trials done with both tesamorelin and sermorelin generally did not involve any special instructions for fasting. There were no trials with CJC-1295 no DAC but it acts by the same mechanisms as the other two. Despite the fervent protest you’ll see in the peptide space that these need to be taken fasted, they’ve produced good results in trials without adhering to special peptide protocol rules. There’s zero research showing that fasting actually improves clinical outcomes with these drugs and anecdotally we don’t see better results in labwork than would be expected based on trial data (although trial data variability is high).

Theratechnologies developed and manufacture tesamorelin and have never recommended that it be taken fasted. Their researchers have spent years working with these drugs and know them inside and out. One has to wonder how these researchers are so mind-numbingly incompetent that every peptide influencer and wellness guru is running circles around them. How would they not know that you need to take this fasted or it doesn’t work? Unless of course, the people who’ve spent years of their life working on this know it doesn’t actually matter.

Just clarifying that dosing for these is typically in mcg (micrograms). Often this gets autocorrected to mg. But it should be pretty clear that no one is suggesting typical dosage is 20-50 vials of product 😂

thanks for clarifying, this was indeed autocorrected ;D

If you decide to use Ipa or Ipa+CJC1295 No Dac blend, you must know that they work paired with training. They improve muscle growth. They mimic GHRH(Growth hormone release hormone) and your body produces growth hormone. That helps preventing muscle weight loss, which is the worst side effect of Tirz. I don't know if they can obtain that without training. But I suppose not.

In my experience, Ipa is more effective than Cjc. Ipa+Cjc makes it better. But didn't ever get the feeling that Cjc alone could make wonders.

You will also get more hunger feeling when you use them. To build muscles they need energy and ask for it. It will get its energy if you eat. But then you won't loose weight. That hunger feeling is not persistent. If you can ignore it, it will get its energy from body fat. That is why fasting is recommended. 2-3 hours before injecting until an hour after injecting is not fasting in my opinion. I inject the blend at 05:00 AM when I wake up and don't eat until 12:00PM. During that time fat is being used to support muscles and building muscles is obtained with training around 06:00PM.

If I were you, I should not switch to reta for last 10lbs. You don't know if it will work for you and there is a chance that you will mess it up. Adding Elora or Cagri is a better choise, if you can't loose weight anymore with Tirz alone.

At your age Ipa+tesa should be a better choice than ipa+cjc. In each case training is advised to achieve a good result.
