Hello! After receiving my bloodwork for test levels, which was low (13nmol/l whereas 10-30nmol is considered normal according to my doc) I do want to do something about it.

I just dont feel comfortable using test since Im ”only” 33. Feels way early to kill my own production, especially since we dont really do trt here in Sweden, I would be forced to pin test for the rest of my life illegally and from grey, aswell as not getting any medical help during cycles.

Been reading about Enclomiphene, but this world is new to me.

Any suggestions on what to do, how to proceed? What would you do? Thanks in advance!

I am in a similar situation. I got my bloodwork back and while my test is in the normal range, its at the very bottom of the range. I had a doc put me on clomid years ago when my ex and I were trying to have a kid (he wanted to supercharge the baby maker to make sure I wasn't the issue) and I did fine on it, so I got some clomid again in hopes of boosting my test that way. I haven't tried enclo yet, but from what I have read and seen reports from others its Clomid but without the possible mood sides. Once I run through the Clomid I have on hand, I plan to get Enclo in the future.

All in all, if you can get Enclo, go for it. If you can't get it maybe consider Clomid, but watch out for the mood sides (the Clomid Crazies).

Yes Ive read about Clomid it seems theyre alot alike. The reason I asked about Enclo is only because most ”research” Ive read compare them, and Enclo seems to be alittle bit of a winner from what Ive read. Have you had problems with temper on Clomid? Gotta read up more about Clomid now 😅👍.

If you're under 40 years old, I would strongly consider trying enclomiphene before starting TRT. Enclomiphene tends to be more effective in younger men and has shown higher success rates in men under 40.

I’m not sure what your current weight is, but if you are overweight, I would focus first on losing excess body fat—especially around the abdomen. Improving your diet and adopting a ketogenic diet may help with weight loss and could have a positive impact on your hormone levels and overall health. Before moving to TRT, it's often worth addressing lifestyle factors such as diet, weight management, exercise, and sleep.

Agree that you should probably not move to TRT at your age unless its absolutely necessary.

Its not true though that once you start pinning test that you will have to do it for life.

There is something called PCT (post cycle therapy) that will get your natural production back.

Enclomiphene is a key component in a PCT and together with HCG you can get back to normal production.

Enclomiphene should be as your first thing you try and see how you do.

I have not had the clomid crazies myself thankfully. But I am also running a lower dose to try and make sure I dont get them either.

You've mentioned Test levels but that's one biomarker. You haven't mentioned anything about symptoms. Some people will have test levels of 13nmol/l and feel and function absolutely fine. Don't get obsessed chasing numbers, look to resolve symptoms.

Currently I am doing 12.5mg twice a week. Its not going to jump my numbers quickly, but I am ok with a slow and steady climb.

My current weight is 95kg at 1,85m. Got some overweight because of a spineoperation that stopped me from training at all for several months, but im back since a month ago. Used to weigh 92-93, but that was with more muscles and less fat than now ofc..

Ive just been having trouble getting back into training after a surgery, never had a problem before as i have always been active.

Now i sleep crappy, doing my best at the gym with like 3/4 of the weights i used to. I understand Reta and calorie deficit is a big deal, But i just felt off and weak. Thats why I had bloodworks done.

As everyone else has said, it’s best to avoid TRT at your age if you can. That being said, sometimes it’s not avoidable if you want to feel good. I spent 2 years trying to raise my testosterone levels without success. I dropped my BF% from 45% down to 15%. I changed to a healthy diet. I quit drinking. I started working out 5 days a week. I tried a bunch of natural boosters like Mars Men. I tried kisspeptin. Nothing helped. My test raised from 320 to 340 lmao. I then tried enclomiphene. It did get my total test up to around 550 but my shbg shot up and my free test and E2 tanked. I felt worse than before. When I asked my Dr, he just said some people have weird reactions and chalked it up to that. So after trying everything I could think of (didn’t know about HCG at the time), I threw in the towel and hopped on TRT. Best decision I’ve ever made in my life.

Also people keep mentioning the mental side effects of clomid and enclomiphene. But it can also cause blindness. So be careful and titrate up slowly until you feel better. And get labs drawn frequently.

The only thing that bugs me about grey enclo is it can be (in indiamarts case allegedly ) just clomid. And mixtures of both drugs. One of the guys on pc was working on third party testing algo, umbrella, kimera, and swiss. But hasnt been enough time. Thats the only thing reallh holding me back. The side effects of clomid are ass compared so im waiting on further information.

After trying Clomid before, I can't agree more. Trying Enclo now from a reputable source and it's nothing like Clomid was.

No Indian vendor has enclo it’s actually clomid be careful.

I’ve been using clomid with hcg. I also have low test but that’s form anabolic use. I’ve now started kisspeptin10 you may want to look into that. It boosts your natural test production by up to 25%

I've been reading up about Clomid since the early posts in this thread. Seems like theres some issues with mood? What else have you experienced?

Looked at my regular peptide source and Clomid is almost half the price of enclo. But from what i've been reading the last few days the extra dollars seems worth it for enclo.

Seem to be pros and cons to both

What's funny, is I was literally just looking at Kisspeptin. From my understanding, it's meant to boost sex drive, but it does that by increasing specific levels of test. I have a good vendor for Enclo. It's $80 for a bottle that lasts me a month. However, I'm beginning to suspect it's causing me a bit of lethargy about an hour after I take it. I'm going to skip tomorrow and see how I feel.

I'm 46. I did about a year of TRT when I was 44-45, and my levels went up to where they should be, but my estrogen went a little high and I got bad acne on my chest. After I moved, I switched to Enclomiphene. It took about 6-8 months for my levels to go back up again, but they're good now and I have NO side effects anymore. Also, it turned out to be a tad cheaper ($150/mn vs $50/week [$216/mn] for TRT). However, I was able to pay for TRT on my FSA card, but my insurance company has Enclomiphene listed as a fertility drug, so won't let me use my FSA.
