I'm 46. I did about a year of TRT when I was 44-45, and my levels went up to where they should be, but my estrogen went a little high and I got bad acne on my chest. After I moved, I switched to Enclomiphene. It took about 6-8 months for my levels to go back up again, but they're good now and I have NO side effects anymore. Also, it turned out to be a tad cheaper ($150/mn vs $50/week [$216/mn] for TRT). However, I was able to pay for TRT on my FSA card, but my insurance company has Enclomiphene listed as a fertility drug, so won't let me use my FSA.
