So I was previously taking around 9mg Tirz 4mg Reta and I was losing fine…but I thought I’d try replacing Tirz with Sema because Sema is cheaper and Reta also has GIP. Boy was I WRONG.

Not only do I feel more inflamed and bloated than I was, but my weight stalled. And the food noise is back. I don’t have the mental restraint anymore at all. So I’m now back taking 5mg Tirz and I already feel a difference! Need to get the levels back up in my system but I’m shocked the difference.

I’m sorry I doubted you, Tirz😭😭😭

Tirz is cheap.

Sema is cheaper because it's not as effective for most people.

That higher gip agonist makes tirz special.

That zero gip agonist makes sema basic 😵😂

I assumed the gip in Reta would be fine but the difference in less gip is crazy!!! Worth a shot at least
 
Thank you for sharing!!! I haven't read that sema works better for anyone just an add-on if they need help with the food noise/hunger

Yeah I impulse bought one vial of sema...it just lives sadly in my fridge because I'll probably never even experiment with it.

Complete lie. One week I'll be bored and curious 😂 but I'll still be on tirz and reta
 
I've been stacking my main Reta with Sema for 8 weeks and down 23lb. The sides of Sema, while mainly mild/ignorable, are much greater than the comparatively easy sides of Tirz or Reta.

I have something like 600mg of Sema on hand, you know, just in case. At my current dose that's enough for 46 years. 😂

I'm currently deescalating my Reta dose and on the fence what I'll stack for the food noise. I still have ~20lb to get to my final goal.

I started on Rx sema and was a suuuuper responder to it. I started losing on the 2.5mg and stayed on that months until the docs samples ran out. (as an aside, bless her heart, she gave me months and months of boxes while I fought w/my insur co.)

I only moved up b/c that's what I was "supposed" to do. I really wonder what would've happened had I stayed on low-dose sema and only moved up when I needed to... I really love tirz, though and it has other benefits.

This is why I have preached that Reta is not going to replace Tirz, that there is a market for both to co-exist side by side.

Tirz seems to help a lot more with the mental sides, which is very important for many.

If you lack the food noise, then Reta works faster on the visceral fat. If you have dangerous levels of liver fat or visceral fat, then Reta makes more sense.

There are more subtle differences, but I think I got the most important ones.

I bought a couple of 5mg kits of it to help round up for free shipping, but also thought, ‘what the heck, you never know’….

Wow!! That's Amazing you were a super responder. So happy for you!! I haven't tried Sema yet & am not a super or even regular responder to anything yet (super slow). I have read many that started with it & still love it. I just haven't read anything about that working but not Tirz or Reta (on the same RS). I haven't read every post everywhere though so there could be some out there, ha ha 🙂

In the span of 6 weeks I went from, I don't think I wanna take Tirz to, I am gonna take tirz until

I'm 95 and why not try Reta too? Lmao

Sema's old ass is already referred to as first generation glp1.... still I keep her around and she tolerates me for the most part. The advanced trials go up to 7.2mg i think, so when max tirz or reta has me hunger panging ill have to honor a lower starting dose of 1mg sema... fully acknowledging ill pin 3 more mg the next dsy
