Sterile vials are the one thing I have struggled to find in the UK. I've found a few places but they are grossly overpriced. Even considered importing from the US but P&P is insane.

I've even looked into buying an autoclave and sterilising myself haha

No nothing yet, seems hard to find a trusted source. I really dont trust unknown Alibaba sellers to actually sell sterile products 🤷‍♂️
 
Ive used Biomed Solutions vials from Amazon without any issues but I am sceptical around sterility. Now I just usually use pen cartridges that I know are sterile instead of vials. Even if they aren’t being put in a pen, they hold up to 3ml and can be drawn from the same as a vial, if not easier.

I came across Golyath previously also. I saw they sell KS-tek vials. The same vials are listed on Amazon for £16.49 instead of the £19.99 on Golyath. Not much difference I know, but if you’re buying alot of vials, its soon adds up.

I've heard mixed reviews of KS-tek vials, but without testing, we are all taking a chance buying vials that aren’t ISO certified, so who's to say whichever brand is better than the other!
 
I agree. However, choosing not to filter simply because a vial might not be sterile is illogical imo.

I would rather filter under the assumption that the vial is sterile, ensuring the final solution remains free of bacteria and contaminants. If I choose not to filter into a sterile vial, I risk introducing contaminants and rendering the end result unsterile.

Ultimately, I filter based on the assumption that the vial is sterile to help secure some peace of mind, even though i cannot guarantee sterility. It's like a little safety net I guess...I hope that makes sense.
