Somewhere along the way, without my consent, my wardrobe decided to level up.

I’ve always been a “canvas/chamois/heavy overshirt untucked because that’s who I am as a person” kind of guy. Then the last couple months happened.

Stage 1: “Huh… my Carhartts are getting loose.”

Stage 2: “Wait… my T‑shirt stays tucked in? By itself??”

Stage 3: “Hold up, I can wear a chamois over a T‑shirt now?”

Final Boss: This morning I put on a T‑shirt… under a button‑down… tucked that in… and it actually looked normal. Pants still loose. Universe still intact.

At this rate, by summer I’ll be out here wearing linen and having opinions about tailoring.

Congrats on the win. Replacing your wardrobe going down in sizes, is a good problem to have.

I keep telling myself this--but some of my "fat girl store" clothes are irreplaceable!! I might need to get a tailor suggestion from the OP 😂

Congrats. One of the reasons I decided to do something about my weight, none of my normal large button ups or regular shirts fit without stretching the buttons. I had to buy a some XL's to have a shirt to wear. After 9 weeks I can wear them.

Careful… that’s exactly how it starts. First the shirts start fitting differently, then suddenly you’re noticing sleeve length, pant breaks, and whether something is “tailored.” Next thing you know you own linen and are explaining fabric weights to your friends.

But seriously, that’s one of the best parts of this whole process — realizing clothes fit the way they were actually designed to. Congrats on the progress. Sounds like the wardrobe evolution is well underway 😄

One of the reasons I started losing weight was when some of my size 7xl clothes were too small to fit, and the shops did not sell anything bigger. The photo on the side is where I started from. Being able to wear nicer clothes is a good problem to have.

Congratulations @AcadiaPeptides ! Always a great feeling to fit better in clothes. Maine is a beautiful place, by summer forget linen you’ll be wearing a bikini. 😂

Now THAT would turn heads! I think I will shoot for more Bond(esk) svelte rather than Borat bikini.
