Funny things vendors say

After talking to so many vendors calling me dear and friend I come across some funny or strange replies. I thought it might be fun to share our experiences here. (Yes I'm bored!)

Got this reply today when asking a vendor about a product and after sending me a COA from last year I asked if it's the same batch they're still selling and his answer was:

"It's not from the same batch, but the product quality is the same. This was produced by a machine and there won't be any differences. It was produced by a factory. Regarding the product quality, you can rest assured."

I still haven't answered back because... I just got a little tired from that response.
 
Gotta wonder about the IQ level of the buyers s/he has said that to that accepted it as fact and subsequently made him comfortable enough to repeat it.

In the book Influence by Robert B Cialdini, PH.D

He said that studies have shown that making a statement followed by any reason, no matter how simple or self explanatory, even if it is butting in line for a photocopier and the reason for the hurry is “I need to make some copies” people almost always just accept it because there was a ‘reason’. The flimsiness of the reason had very little effect on the result.

We all see this in our own lives right? Where it is too tiring to even begin to want to argue or disagree

Whoa, is that from a CN vendor? I've always gotten "Of course dear!" and "Yes my friend," so I have no funny stories to share, but that is...something else. I'd be a discount gremlin & would be all "This company is the BESSSSSSSTTTTT!!!"

There are thousands of people who think tiktok influencers are more trustworthy than people with advanced degrees and experiences. It's no surprise but very disappointing.
