Gansulin First shots extra fast, Any else seen this ?

Over the last few cartridges I've noticed my Gansulin pen shoots the first few shots really really fast, literally blasts it in , even with 34g needles . So fast the dial goes from 30 to zero instantly. Then after a number of weekly shots it settles down to what I'd consider a normal and slower injection where it clicks down visually on the dial .

I can't work it out . Perhaps it's normal. Nothing seems out of order, however I'm questioning if this is accurate for delivery over the first few shots .

I'll load a cartridge with water when I get some time in a few weeks and do some testing.

For now I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences this with Pens ?

found the issue, but of a face palm moment. The plunger mechanism had not properly lodged against the base of the carts.

Not to self , really drive it in a few times before the first few shots.
