Generic peptide question

So, I was labeling some vials because I ended up with 2 different vial contents. Both are CJC-1295 no dac with Ipamorelin but one kit is a 10mg vial with a 5/5 mixture while the other is a 20mg vial 10/10 mix. My question is: shouldn’t there be twice as much lyophilized powder in the 20mg vial as in the 10mg vial or am I missing something?
 
The amount of peptide in the vial does not correlate directly with the amount of powder in the vial. A lot of the powder is made up of fillers and stabilizers and such. The amounts of those doesn't really change much at all regardless of the peptide amount.

Exactly. The amount of actual peptide in most vials would barely dust the inside...we'd all think we were ripped off.
 
10 or 20 mg of actual peptide is a pretty tiny pile of dust a few mm across. The rest is a sugar like mannitol to stabilise it during lyophilisation.
