I've only been using it for 5 days.

I was familiar with the pain from the injection before taking it, but I did not expect the discomfort from the injection to last this long.

I dissolve it in saline because it is compatible.

2mg in 0.15ml was definitely the most painful

2mg in 0.5ml (added 0.35 saline) hurt a little less

2mg in 0.5ml distributed in two injections 5-6cm apart hurts a little less, but still unpleasant enough that I wouldn't take it every day.

Another question I have is the side effects?

Copper uglies and besides is known to everyone.

Have you experienced permanent thickening at the injection site?

I encountered such claims on Vigorous Steve's yt channel. Where the peptide itself is rated very poorly.

half-life of 0.5-1.7h

if we round to 1h

The amount in the blood of 150ng/dl gives a daily amount of natural production of 0.108mg

(90*24/1000 000 *50) estimate just to get some close number.

So the 2mg dose is far above the physiological dose, since it is the equivalent of 2,000,000 ng. Depending on the speed of absorption, the amount in the blood ranges from 15,000-30,000 ng/dl

Here are some of my observations, though I am primarily interested in your experiences with side effects.

Some say that KPV reduces injection pain. What is the underlying reason for that?

Yes, into the gluteus. I tried the love handles, and that definitely hurt the most(just for test).

I also tried massaging and icing the injection site, but it didn't help.

Reconning in saline or saline BAC?…How big of a vial in mgs? 50mg…100mg?

Just saline. I could use bacteriostatic saline, but I didn't want to take in too much benzyl alcohol.

Its 50mg in 3ml and then I add more saline after puling in syringe.

I use bacteriostatic water with Reta and don't have an allergy or any reaction to it.

But still, logically speaking, plain saline ought to be "gentler."

2 weeks into pinning and the stinging completely went away for me. I got a random one that hurt like hell. But maybe you’ll be lucky and it will subside like it did for me.

There are several threads you should spend some time reading though because there is some good advice in them. Everyone reacts a little differently, so some solutions work better for some and otbsrs work better for others.

Here’s one: /community-link/thread/17897/

And another: /community-link/thread/11332/

There are many more.

Here is my personal advice. I’m one that also experiences the feeling that I’ve been stabbed with a butter knife for a full 24 hours. (Certainly wouldn’t describe it as a burn or bee sting, though that’s what it’s like for some).

Honestly, even if it sucks for you, it’ll suck for 24 hours but it’s not horrible. Maybe a sleepless night and plenty of time to question your life choices. But you might want to just try a small pin without anything extra to see how you react to it. You may be one of the very blessed who doesn’t feel any burn or post-injection pain. (And don’t declare victory immediately. For me, the pain starts after a few hours.)

My recommendations in order for mitigating pain are:

1) First try the extra BAC method.

2) Add GHK-Basic. Anywhere from a 1:1 ratio or a 5:1 ratio (Cu:basic) will usually take care of the issue.

3) Add some epi/lido. The lido will only help with any immediate injection site burn or pain you get but the epi will help mitigate the histamine response that causes most of the issue.

I rotate using BPC, KPV, and TB4 anyway, but none were ever sufficient to mitigate the Cu problems. Some people swear by it. One thing I’ve learned through reading dozens of discussions about this is that everyone reacts differently. My recommendations above are listed in order of ease and cost effectiveness.

For me, #2 is the most effective and the only thing I do at this point. (No extra BAC. No more epi/lido anymore.) GHK-Basic can sometimes be hard to come by but it’s pretty readily available at the moment. And a little bit goes a long way.

Good luck!

Also, as was mentioned, using longer needles also helps to get below the MAST layer. I use 12mm. I’ve never gotten a knot or lump.

Personally when I pin into the love handles I had a giant welt that stung forever and a spot that stayed for what felt like a week or longer. In the backend no sting, no pain, no welt, no spot, I just go on with my day! Maybe all those belt lashing sessions with my father when I was younger numbed that area for life! 🤣

@Dos-Dox did you quite a service. 🧡

I will only add, do not be stingy on your recon liquid of choice. The more diluted, the less painful.

I ran a month of Cu with B. Easy.

Running a month of Cu with KPV to check out the rumors for myself. Sadly, KPV benes aren't evident for a couple/few months (I've read). Will run this for 3 months to see if the easy pin is accompanied by any other benefits.

I started with 2.5mg (15 units) in the abdomen. Absolutely terrible welt and the pain kept me awake half the night. Started reading and quickly changed to 1/2" needles into the glutes and that helped immensely.

I now blend 100mg GHK-Cu with 30mg KPV in 3.3ml Hospira. So 5 units is about 1.5mg GHK-Cu and about 0.5mg KPV given typical KPV overfill. I think GHK-Cu usually has the opposite problem with slight underfill. Absolutely no ISR or pain now. Probably due to a combination of reduced dose, injection location, needle length, KPV, and acclimation.

Reading this made me go

50mg ghk-cu in 10ml of bac water, 20 units (.5mg) in the thigh 30g 8mm needle. 32m, just taking it along with reta as a precaution to keep loose skin away and maybe help with some inflammation. Sometimes I bruise slightly, sometimes it stings a tiny bit. Guess im lucky or just overdiluted as a precaution, but no welts except once when I hit a blood vessel in the glute, switch to top of thigh after that.

The first few times I drew up 5units of bac water after drawing the ghkcu because ive heard having it in the tip of the needle can cause the irritation, but sometimes I skip this step and have noticed no difference. Day 40 so far, no uglies, maybe shinier skin.

that is 5mg per 1ml

20 units would be 20% or 1/5th = 1mg

it appears your math is off.

FYI

if you want .5mg

you would dose 1/10 of the 5mg or 10 units=.5mg

MVP answer. I think mast cells could be the cause.

I definitely experience symptoms of an allergic reaction, my asthma flares up periodically.

I’ve read about the link between asthma and mast cells. I can definitely feel some asthma activation.

For the next test, I’ll try injecting a small amount into areas where the skin should be thinner.

A 29G needle should work.

I’ve been on it for three days. 50 mg in 3ml of bac water. First two were in the upper abdomin. Last one was left outer thigh. I’m drawing 12 units so 2mg dose and have not have any stinging or reaction until the one in my thigh this morning I woke up to it being red and slightly sore slight lump or swelling also. Reading. Few comments and some previous posts it looks like most people have issues with the abdominal area and the thigh works out better, guess I’m the opposite. I’ve also got much more fat on my abdomen than my thighs. I dunno maybe I hit a blood vessel, but when that happens with my test cyp injection it normally bruises and I feel the slight pain immediately. Going back to the abdomin for today to see how tomorrow looks.

I hope the body's reaction settles down after a couple of weeks.

Do you ever inject the testosterone subcutaneously, or only into the muscle?

Only intramuscular for testosterone and I only rotate between my left and right thigh. I use to have my wife do it for me into my glutes, but haven’t in over a year. I just took today’s GHK dose in my lower right abdomen. No pain or anything still, so i guess we wait and see.

100% same for me. pinned love handles with KLOW and a massive red welt for a week.. Was the worst. moved to stomach and was better, but pinned in the backend and was SO much better. ALSO maybe its too concentrated. I reconstituted with 2ML initially and it stung a lot, then i fixed it and added an extra ML total 3ML and it seemed to fix the stinging issue.
