Holy Histamine! Big reaction to MT1 and Gluta

I'm not too worried about it (anymore šŸ˜¬ ). Just sending a bit of a this could happen to you.

I've been doing Glutathione 1200 mg for about 5 weeks now only working up to all the mg in one shot for the past two weeks.

Did my Gluta, and about an hour later, did 200 mcg of MT 1. Had done the same MT 1 for the prior three days with only slight nausea as a reaction.

About two hours after shot, started having hives and itching all around torso, underarms...a lot. Took a benadryl and used anti-itch spray and all was good until morning, then it ramped up again, took an Allegra I had laying around (I am weirdly happy to have used up one of two half used anti-itch sprays, took my last benadryl and now am using this sample of Allegra)! Only had taken one of the Allegra at about 7 am and by 5 I definitey needed the other one!

Bc everything is responding to the meds and it never got into my face or throat, I'm okay with it but super bummed about it, too.

I'll still research with both once the dust (aka red itchy welts) settle with skipping MT 1 on Glutathione day.

If anyone has any experience with this type of thing happening, I'd love to hear it!

For larger ml doses I like to use my outer thighs. Less problems with histamine reactions for me.

Maybe I'll have to try that again....more painful for me, so I switched to ventro glute, but I'd rather a little bit of leg pain than 24+ hours of red and itchy!

How did you end up going? I just pinned my first ever MT1 dose of 0.25mg, feeling kind of flushed so I jumped on here to see others reactions and yours has got me concerned now šŸ˜…

Like most, I avoid such high doses of gluta. The Koreans do it because they are more obsessed than cautious.

Funnily enough your signature (which Iā€™ve noticed before) came to mind a few weeks ago when I was trying to pin TB into my stomach area. I donā€™t have much sensation in the lower stomach area so usually pin there. I went to jab, felt the pressure and thought ā€œall good, time to push the plungerā€. But, like an over excited penis owner, I shot my load all over my stomach as it wasnā€™t in properly, leading me to miss a shot I did try and take hahahahaha
 
Any generalised allergic reaction like that where it is not a localised injection site reaction, and given you describe hives it is definitely a histamine mediated type 1 allergic response, and you got them everywhere, not just the injection site, is a bit dangerous. Basically very similar process to anaphylaxis except just in the skin, not everywhere. There is a risk the next reaction will be worse, and that risk is quite high, like, more likely than not. I do not think there is any way to determine what the risk of an anaphylactic reaction is, but it is definitely not zero. Most probable is just a worse version of what just happened, but the question is, what is an acceptable risk for a potentially fatal anaphylactic reaction?, especially when the drug is not needed to sustain life. MT1 and glutathione are more optional than absolutely needed drugs. I would expect that no doctor would feel comfortable ever using either of those drugs on a patient who had previously had that sort of reaction.

In general the only safe response is to avoid what triggered that reaction, given there were 2 possibilities, you should avoid both. I do not get the impression you are going to do this, ( hopefully I am wrong ) so at an absolute minimum you need an epipen and someone else there in case something bad happens, who could dose you with the epipen if needed and call the ambulance, and use a 1/10 or 1/100th dose and not both at once. And then avoid the one that caused the reaction.
