I think i butchered my tirz recon but I think i can still use it thoughts?

So long story short i was reconning + filtering tirz for the first time and as i popped open the cap off the T10 vial the entire metal part came off just leaving the rubber stopper (can show a picture if anyone wants to see) and although it weirded me out since i was transfering it to a new sterile vial I through nothing of it. So after reconning it and putting the BAC water in and all that as I was sucking all the peptide back into the 3mL syringe the ENTIRE rubber stopper just popped off 😭.

Like the entire vial was exposed to the air. Luckily i had about 99% of the peptide in the syringe already so I just sucked up the remaining super quickly and then put the filter on my needle and filtered it into a new vial. Now i am a little bit skeptical if its still good to use since I did filter it after so im just looking for advice if I can still use it

(P.S I know what I did wrong I didn't vent the vial with a filter causing too much pressure to build up in the vial along with me using a 22 gauge to filter it causing there to be too much pressure and the rubber stopper to just pop open like that will definitely learn from my mistakes next time lmao)
 
I didn't know that the vial was a vacuum either the first time I reconned. I was shocked when the vial sucked all the BAC water in.

If you consider the fact that when you pressurize the vial each time you pin you are introducing air, it seems like that this would be a non-issue (as long as your not pinning by your bathroom)

is it just the air you are worried about?
 
Not a big deal. I'd use it.

I use a 1.5" 27g to pull the peptide and a shorter one to vent. 1.5" goes to the bottom of a 3 ml vial.

yea just the air but i filtered it so im not too worried, it just weirded me out a lil by how scuffed it was lol

The reason why a few seconds of exposure to outside air is kind of a non-event is because it happened before the filtering step. Any bacteria or yeast or spores floating around that would have been able to get into contact with your solution would have been filtered out almost immediately.
