What's up I found this forum from looksmax.org. Mainly here to see what peptides would be worth it for me and which ones wouldn't. I've only taken semax and selank so far. I play soccer and recently started having ankle and foot pain, so I wanted to see what options there are out there for me. I also want to build muscle and was wondering what could help with that. Overall, I'm just ready to learn as much as possible

At 23 years old you should not need any peptide, sarm, steroid or [insert drug].

The recent anke/foot pain should be solved with rest and carefull training (perhaps consult a doctor).

Muscle building should also be no issue at your age.

You have your youth to power you through all that.

What you need is

  • Food (enough kcal/protein - as 'clean' as possible/tolerable)
  • Sleep
  • Train hard and consistent.
If you can't get these basic things in order nor get any decent results from them then you are not putting enough effort in it. (a.k.a. you suck).

Are you playing in college?

If you don't take care of the foot pain now it'll only get worse with age. Unfortunately "protocols" could actually end up magnifying the problem due to masking and then overuse. I'm sure that isn't the response you're looking for, at least it wouldn't be for me when I was your age. Think about your long term plans and goals before deciding. It's hard to really recognize how good you feel now until you have age gaps to compare it to but the "good times" are now and those don't always last. I would personally try to reach your ceiling before utilizing anything. People often see the short term benefits and mistake that for long term value while not actually having much perspective...then get stuck in confirmation bias.

For the sake of not sounding like a parent and to give some perspective I just turned 39. I regularly get told I look like I'm in my late 20's which was something I didn't strive for, now appreciate when I was younger. I spent 2 significant periods of my life thinking relatively short term..at least for me and ended up in a year long residential wilderness facility with a 10 year sober stint after only to follow that up with a 10 year stretch to IV needle use. I know rec/hard drugs aren't the same thing but inhibition tends to decrease once you dip your feet into these things and ego sneaks in there and leads you to doing things you previous said you wouldn't. That response was probably more than you were looking for but I'm trying to avoid empty posts and hopefully discourage people who otherwise wouldn't look into these things if they weren't becoming so mainstream.

TLDR - 1. yes you can leverage things to reduce recovery time. 2. said avoid things that will prematurely age you. Your later years already come with necessary things that will age you. Be proactive but not in a way which requires downstream reactivity.
