Just started maybe about two months ago and a lot of trial and error. Currently swapping from Reta to tirz with some bpc and lipo C. Current weight around 270lb. Trying to find the balance between eating too much in one sitting and not at all. Both ends come with acid reflux and burping

welcome!! Curious as to what made you make the swap from Reta to Tirz?

Started off at a high dose for Reta and titrated up to quickly. Plus the constipation. I have better bowel movements with tirz over Reta.

I just recently experienced the constipation also. 10/10 do not recommend getting constipated! It was horrible. I’m gonna try to combat it though with fiber, and lots of water and electrolytes. I will be having to stop taking Reta for about a month for surgery though so I’ve been slowly titrating my dose back down.

Constipation is the only side effect I’ve had from Reta. I started eating more fiber and taking a probiotic daily as well. That definitely helps just fyi.

I am constipated for the 1st couple of days after pinning RETA but it settles after SS and Miralx.

Whats your dose? You know you should run steady on a dose for 4 weeks right? As i understand it you have to let your body adjust as well as keep the half life balanced

Someone correct me if im wrong

Do you guys workout as well and maintain a decent diet?

Yes - light weights / resistance bands and walking / swimming...

Yes - lean meats / vegetables and no pasta/bread/rice/milk (except for yogurt)

I was thinking of trying yogurts made from soy or from almonds to see if that helped.

Yeah not sure but, like I said I’m learning. I took advice from my brothers gym rat and started the dose to high and gradually moved up but now reading I should have titrated slower.

This is the diet I’m trying to get on. I rarely crave any fatty foods but at times yeah noodles do sound good. I naturally stay away from bread and milk. Unless a dessert for milk in a shake

Yes!!! I can walk into a space where food is being fried and I have to walk out because the smell makes me instantly nauseous.

Long term maintenance tirz should be the better option as long term glycogen depletion that Reta could cause has shown to have negative health consequences

Lucky I don't get constipated from reta. My goal was 20 pounds and just hit that at the 3 month mark, going to start tapering my dose. Couldn't have lost the weight without it.

I workout 5 days a week. I do a push, pull, legs, upper, lower split. I started at 1 mg Reta and went up 1 mg each week till I reached 5 mg. I’ve been on for about 8/9 weeks now and have lost 30 lbs. I’m titrating back down to get off for a surgery but will be going back up after. I have another 40 lbs I’m wanting to get rid of and then do a low maintenance dose weekly and start CJC/IPA BLEND to try to get shredded.
