Hi all,
I'm from the UK and am a male in his early 30s. My background is that I've been bodybuilding (okay, let's go with weightlifting for ages 16-21 where I just wanted to be as strong as possible and didn't truly understand the impact of eating and nutrition!)
I was fresh faced 140lbs at six foot tall when starting to lift weights with my friend who was in the weight lifting club while I was living in the states. Sadly being from the UK and 16 I'd done enough exams to not need to do the final two years of high school. I feel I missed some social side to it but my best friend luckily showed me the way. His step dad had a home gym in the garage and was JACKED. I made pretty great strength progress, despite never going past 150lbs maximum bodyweight, I was happy to be bench pressing 225 (100kg) for 3 reps. I was a fat kid who lost all his weight growing into his size by riding my bike everywhere and so had strong legs. I remember squatting 315 lbs (140kg) for sets of 8-10.. Deadlifts? Ha! I was lucky to get 225 without a horrible arched back.
Fast forward I move back to the UK, regained the strength and finally listened to my best friend about diet. I had a solid diet plan, breakfast was oats and a weight gainer shake, morning meal was a giant chicken breast with rice. Another weight gainer around lunch time, followed by a meal of steak and rice mid afternoon ready to hit the gym after work. I blew up from 145lbs to 185, and then 185 to 220 (100kg).
Various life circumstances (including girlfriends ffs!) had me yo-yoing and getting back to the same point..
Then I decided to join the "dark side" and play with my hormones. I could tell you all about the different substances I used there, I became obsessed with learning.
My peak physique was during covid time, I was a solid 235lb at six foot tall, I couldn't tell you a body fat % but was very vascular and could see number 7 and 8 of my 8 pack if I held my skin down haha. I had a very different diet, but it worked just as I needed it to.
Fast forward some years and I'm training again. My best friend who started me lifting told me multiple times about peptides (ehhh I'm on the "real" stuff I thought, why bother?). Finally wkrh peptides gaining enough attention I decided to give them a go. Without including mt2 in the list (amazing stuff, I love being golden), somebody locally sorted me out with a few peptides to aid me in my recomp as I transitioned from 'dad bod who used to lift to bodybuilder looking again'.
I have used so far:
Retraglutide
Ss31
Mots C
Glow blend (ghkcu, bpc157, tb500)
I have had incredible results from them so far. The most interesting I found was playing with the dosage and timing of Mots C. I had a lot of fun and felt great from the 2 vials of that I had once I'd learned to tune the dosage and timing to work well with my nutrition.
And here I am, still 230lbs like the start of my recomp phase a few months ago, but the dad bod belly is gone. That is flat, my love handles are going, leaning up around my chest allowing that and my shoulders to pop, arms showing better definition than just 'big'.
I'm just a small fry compared to some of you guys on here, but I never want to compete and am loving living life the way I want to. I love getting the viking or rugby player comments!
If you've read all this, thanks! Please just let me know even if you have nothing to say so I know one soul has read what I've spent a long time writing out haha.
I'd also be happy to answer any questions about anything, mostly about peptides/substances effects, nutrition, how they all worked when tailored to how my body works. Id also be happy to hear the same about anyone who has made it this far!
I may have to consult the rules again before responding, but look forward to joining the community!
I've spent the time to write this all out myself, no AI slop here, so hope this does post and not error out! I look forward to perhaps some new friends!
Have a great day
