I’m Patrick. I recently turned 60 and I work in new home sales here in the SFBay - East Bay.
STATS:
Starting Weight: 210 lbs
Goal Weight: 145-150 lbs or 10% body fat mass
Current Weight: ~165 lbs
Single, and looking for like-minded health and fitness friends and conversations!
I started my weight loss journey after my tummy kept getting in my way when closing the car door. Beginning with Tirz, I lost 35lbs from Aug '25 to the end of '25. My primary focus right now is pushing toward my final target weight of 145 lbs, specifically working on stripping away those last stubborn pockets of visceral fat while preserving my muscle mass. I am currently "researching" Reta.
Along with the reta, I keep a loosely disciplined daily operating protocol including a frugal, high-yield protein diet (lots of standard/clear whey isolate, hard-boiled eggs, and (my weakness) Chocolate Chip Pure Protein bars) to hit my 120g daily target. My evenings usually consist of heavy resistance training to protect my shoulders and core, immediately followed by 45 minutes of strict Zone 2 cardio, keeping my heart rate dialed in right around 96 to 112 bpm.
I joined the forum simply to absorb the wealth of knowledge you all have curated here. I’m hoping to read up on how others are balancing their heavy lifting and cardio routines, learn how everyone manages their nutritional protocols, see what "stacks" people my age are running and why, and eventually share some of my own experiences once I get my forum legs under me.
Thanks for fostering such a welcoming space. I look forward to interacting with you all!
