Hi everyone,

Born in 1992, splitting my life between Poland and Asia. I trained combat sports from age 6 to 17 and was extremely active that whole time - then I sat down in front of a computer, started working, and you can guess the rest.

I'm 171 cm (5'7") and currently 93 kg (205 lbs), my peak of the last two years and the weight I want to come down from. I've been bouncing between 77 and 93 kg (170-205 lbs) for years; my lifetime max was 103 kg (227 lbs).

The muscle base from all those years of sport is still there. I'm a naturally stocky build, fat sits evenly on me rather than in one place, and once I get down to around sub 80kg the obliques start showing and everything uncovers - so I know exactly what's waiting under there. When I train and keep my diet, the weight comes off fast: from 87-88 kg (194 lbs) in January 2025 I got down to 77 kg (170 lbs) by June-August, riding the indoor trainer, doing kettlebell work at home and eating clean - that was the peak of my cycling season. I was training 4-6 times a week (3-4 bike sessions, 2 home kettlebell sessions, plus stretching).

Then it fell apart: I damaged my knee in August during 150miles gravel race, left for half a year to Asia in October and crept up to about 82-83 kg (176 lbs). The Asian side of my life doesn't make bike training any easier either - the heat and humidity there are brutal. Back on the trainer in November, but as soon as I pushed the volume up, the knee went again in January. My head went down with it and I've slid to today's 92-93 kg. On top of that I recently had a motorcycle accident (that was a reson for last sprint from 89 to 93kg in 3 weeks). The cast came off almost two weeks ago and my foot is still swollen and painful, with damaged ligaments and tendons. I've caught myself killing boredom with constant eating. That's the honest picture of what brought me here.

I gave Rybelsus a try from January to March 2026 abck in Asia when i was around 83kg. It kind of worked at the beginning, but I never really lost weight on it, never felt real satiety, the appetite suppression faded when the dose changed, and once I stopped, my appetite and weight shot straight back up.

My goals now: shift from pure sport goals to physique and sport goals - get down to a maximum of 75-77 kg and keep that for years at around 12-15% body fat, through fat loss with recomposition rather than just chasing scale weight, build a genuinely good look, rebuild the ankle and knee, and get my cycling endurance with FTP over 300W as the number to chase (the bike is my perfect cardio - always doable on the trainer, whatever the weather outside). The long-term carrot is still out there though: 500 km under 20 hours, but on the road bike rather than gravel, to spare my knees the constant impacts, also a physique. I want also to improve my skin along the way (very fair complexion, lots of freckles).

The timeline is real, not a someday-dream: next April we're moving to Asia for two years, and I want to land there in proper shape.

So the plan is - heal the leg, go to the gym with my wife, speen a wheel, be in solid shape by April, and once we're there, join a Muay Thai group together so we train consistently 3-4x a week, with the bike staying in as cardio. Bigger picture, this is about longevity, general health, motivation, fitness and changing my lifestyle for good - not another 12-week crash diet...

My wife (a year younger than me) is on her own journey too - she struggles with atopic dermatitis and knows the same yo-yo weight and motivation battles I do, so I'll be reading and learning here for her as much as for myself.

To keep myself honest, I'm planning a little series here - posting my stats, measurements and results every two weeks or so.

Public accountability worked for me in sports and business, so let's see if it works here too 🙂

Thanks for having me!
