Hi all,
I'm 37 woman from the UK, so I am hoping some other UK based people can lead me in the right direction.
I have always struggled with my weight, I have only ever felt full when I am about to explode and it physically hurts. I always feel hungry. It all made a lot of sense when I eventually found out when I was 35 that I have PCOS/PMOS, an underactive thyroid and insulin resistance.
I've tried most things during my life. I even had a gastric band but had to have it removed as it twisted so much I couldn't keep water down.
Most recently I tried mounjaro for 12 to 18 months. Though the food noise and hunger never truly went it was more bearable than it had ever been before. I managed to lose 6 stone.
Unfortunately due to the price increase I had to come off it and in the last 10 months I have put half of that back on as the hunger came back with a vengeance. I have been looking at reta for a while now and think I'm ready to go that route once I get more comfortable.
Any hints or tips for me starting this step would be appreciated.
