Hi everyone! I'm in Texas, and was introduced to the world of peptides via my PCP, who offered compounded GLP-1s for weight loss. I was overweight (and had ranged from obese to overweight my whole life), and although the price was STEEP, I decided to get on the GLP-1 program... and it has changed my life! I thought I would NEVER get to be at a 'normal' weight and, because of this, would never get to live a normal life... But I am basically there! I have since stopped the program because the prices are insanely prohibitive, but I have been hearing more and more about peptides and want to learn 1) how to continue with my GLP safely for myself and my wallet (lol), and 2) understand what else is out there, for both myself and for my parents, who I want to keep healthy and feeling well as long as possible

Cool that you had a PCP that was open to compounding! Mine was very against. Wishing you luck with your research!

I see a lot of functional medicine doctors that are open minded.

That quality is a lot harder to find in a PCP.
