Hi everyone!

I'm very excited to be here. I'm in my late 30's and about two and a half months ago something in me clicked, and I decided to be proactive about my health (obesity, insuline resistance, high cholesterol, anemia). Didn't take long to become passionate about supplements and peptides. I am very thankful because one of the first things I discovered was "food noise", something I had had for the longest but didn't know it was a thing. Next Monday I'm starting research on SS 31 and and currently on Mots-C, Tirz (switching soon to Reta), and Tesa (learned about the ss31 overhaul after the fact). I can 100% feel the difference in terms of food noise, even if the weight has barely changed.

I presume my changes have been very slow because aside from recovering from a procedure from a previous cancer treatment, I have extremely low Iron that although I'm treating, the recovery is very slow. That has made physical exertion a little hard and of course excercise is essential! But I'm going slowly and surely!

I love soccer, swimming and the outdoors; and one of the things i'm most excited about is recovering and enhancing the capabilities of my body without the extra weight, but I'm very thankful to my body for everything is doing and has done so far. Once I have balanced my weight and cardiovascular health, I plan to research brain, neuronal, longevity, and "beauty" peptides, all this while enjoying my ride regardless of the speed.

So much great knowledge and experiences in here, very grateful for what you have shared and looking fwd to reading your posts with excitement and care. Thank you all!

Welcome! I started on tirzepatide and I loved it! I'm actually contemplating going back to it once I finish my current reta kit.

Peptides are great, I'm glad you're using them to take control of your health, I did the same last year (which is still in progress.)

Thank you @herrjosh ! Glad to be sharing the same journey! You know, I've heard others mention that they will go to Tirz once they have reached their body composition goals. Would it be ok to ask what's driving your decision? I would consider it, too, once I have no need for the extra help burning fat, but not there yet at all! Either way, congrats on your decision and persistence!

For me, I didn't notice too much difference and I'm not really sure if I'm benefitting from the glucagon agonism as my rate of weight loss is practically the same as tirzepatide. Tirz is also cheaper and gives stronger appetite suppression, I think I could (and have 🫣) out eaten the reta whereas on tirz that was VERY hard for me to do.

I also experienced the increased heart rate and skin sensitivity initially on reta (it's gone away now, I started reta in May) whereas I never had any severe side effects on tirz.

That's just my take, I think either choice with a good meal plan and exercise will yield excellent results!
