Hello everyone just popping in to introduce myself! I am a 44yr old female 5’3, starting weight was 170 down to 162 after a month on Reta, Klow and a good diet. I am looking to learn all I can about the best way to use peptides to help lower my inflammation, stress levels and get back somewhat to the old me. This past year and a half has been quite the roller coaster mentally and physically. I lost my son in a motor vehicle accident Jan 22,2025 and have really just let myself go. It is truly amazing what stress can do to your body. But I am Working on me now! Before all that happened I was always pretty active other than a back and neck injury that rarely slowed me down. Now I have so much pain and inflammation, there’s a good chance my body is still in fight or flight mode! But we are working on it! ATM I am looking to avoid surgery on my back but the pain down my legs is so unbearable it is heading in that direction. I have already seen some progress on the inflammation and the weight loss which has sent me down the rabbit hole to here! I need to learn about it all now! Thank you all for having me and I look forward to being part of the community!!!

Welcome here! Wow you've run the gamet. I had a spinal fusion a couple years ago. Scared me to do it but there was so much damage no alternative. Glad I did it now no more pain. Be brave and vigilant on your journey. I'm sure your son is smiling down on you knowing you're fighting the good fight!

I know he definitely is! I have had two cervical disc replacements and I felt great for a little while after the surgery but couple months later the inflammation comes back followed by the pain. I know the second back surgery is probably unavoidable but would like to push it out as far as possible and when it does happen to at least keep the inflammation away after.

It does. I misread it seems. How are you dosing your KLOW? I have it in the freezer but I wasn't sure how to use it for it to have effects on my scars. I have multiple scars from cuts on my torso and 3 months of it didn't make absolutely any change, I hoped it would🙄

I am so so sorry for the pain that you carry every day, mentally and physically. My sister lost her son, and it has forever changed the family dynamics- I hear you {Hugs}. Congrats on your weight loss w Reta. I just started TZ, but im an avid researcher and quickly stumbled upon this community. Hoping to absorb all the info I can and learn and improve my overall health too. I also had an injury (leg, not back), but it has really set me back. Happy so far w Tirz, but damn I am rarely hungry! I would love to share this experience with you! Nice to "meet" you

This is truly what a welcome is. You good folks supporting each other with advice and experiences. We have fun here as well. I'm floored by the genuine concern people have for one another here. Keep the good vibes going !!!

Welcome to the group

Reta was the life saver for me. A lot of inflammation, aches and pains went quite early on, plus all the other benefits it provides.

This enabled me to dial in the diet and training.

I plan to run reta only for a few more months as I don't want to just jump on the peptide train too soon.

Thank you {hugs} right back to you! One thing I will say with Reta is I am still hungry but I notice I don’t eat as much and fill satisfied faster. I was actually surprised I was expecting to have to force myself to eat. I’m happy that I still have an appetite

I am doing 2 mg 5 days on 2 days off mainly because of the feisty nature of the shot! It definitely has a little bite. I started doing the shot on my thigh but my leg at injection site hurt pretty bad after. So now I am pinning in my upper butt and I ice 10 min before and 10 min after. It helps a little but still not the most comfortable shot for sure! I have been nervous to try it anywhere else lol

I cant even imagine how hard it is to inject in your butt. Does someone do it for you?
