Hello,

I’m a 38 year old man from California who recently started taking Reta 6 weeks ago. I’ve always been able to diet and exercise but the food noise and binge eating disorder has been too difficult to overcome the older I get. Reta has been amazing in that regard, life changing.

I’m excited to join the community and start to engage in conversation about all things peptides, not just GLP1’s.

SW: 230 CW: 215 GW: 185?

I’m 6’ about 30% BMI for reference.

I haven't started Reta yet, but I've also been able to diet and exercise and also find the food noise and "cheat day" binge eating to be really troublesome.

Anywho, welcome to the club!

What dose did you start at? What dose are you at now? Just curious. I ordered my first batch yesterday. My plan is to start with 1mg the first week, then maybe go up to 2mg, and just say at 2mg and see what happens.

I started at 1mg and it was great. No side effects, except the occasional fatigue. Stayed there 4 weeks before titrating up. Currently at 2mg and it’s been a struggle to eat 2000 calories, so I’m probably just going to stay here for the foreseeable future. As long as I am not binge eating or emotional eating I don’t see any reason to increase.

This is genuinely helpful. I’ll probably stay at 1mg then for more than 1 week.

Welcome!

I have lost 45kgs all naturally over the course of 5 years. im at 85kgs now (187lb). I still wanna loose between 6-10kgs more. i have been stuck at 85kg for roughly a year. Do you know in what way reta might help me?

How have the Reta side effects been? I'm on tirz 2.5 and I don't really feel hungry- kind of pushing myself to eat which is wild given the low dose. I ordered my 5 mg and even more backup, so I'm set for the time being, but kind curious about Reta bc I think it's superior for Maintaining muscle- something I can't afford to lose!

i can only speak to my specific experiences, but the appetite suppression and lack of food noise is how it’s helped me. I’ve never been on any other GLP1, so I didn’t choose Reta for any specific reason other than it was available to me and after doing research I was comfortable with the risk. I 100% recommended doing your own research between the different options out there and decide what fits better into your goals.

The side effects have been mostly mild. For some reason on the third day after pinning I have a slight stomach ache and the fatigue hits pretty hard. Every other day of the week I’m fine and don’t notice anything. I was the same way on Reta at 1mg. I had to put intentional effort in just to reach 2k calories which has been an adjustment for me. However, I have seen a few posts of people needed to hit higher doses before feeling the effects, maybe I am just lucky.
