Hello everyone!

My GLP-1 story began when I was prescribed Ozempic for it's weight loss properties prior to the GLP-1 craze. I took it for a few months, my doctor told me to take and stick to 1mg. Around the 3rd or 4th months I started to experience one of it's nasty side effects which is stomach paralysis which caused food to rot in my stomach. I quit GLP-1s till last week when I took my first dose of Retatrutide.

Because of my previous negative experience I decided to start low and slow. Today marks my 2nd dose of 0.5 mg of Reta. So far it has been good with no indication of gut paralysis, infact I think I might be a hyper responder as even just 0.5mg is hitting me hard. Appetite is suppressed, and food noise completely gone. The first 2 days were very hard where I felt I couldn't eat anything.

I'm 5'9, 116kg looking to get down to the 75-80kg range

Welcome. Reta seemed to be better for me as well. I started with zepbound and it seemed to give me some issues with my stomach. Since then I've added a few other peptides to the mix and seem to be feeling a lot better all around. I was even able to stop my antidepressants I've been on for around 13 years!

The Tirz to Reta transition is very much something I’m interested in hearing people’s experiences. Reddit posts are consistently…not as good hunger suppression, higher resting heart rates and lots of ripped young people.

This is what has been keeping me from adding Reta to my Triz. I have Hypertension and an elevated resting heart rate doesn't sound too good to me, but I am still researching.

Glad to hear things are going well so far, especially after your previous experience with Ozempic! Starting low and slow sounds like a smart approach.

Are you planning to stay at 0.5 mg for a while?

Yeah me too regards researching. Right now Tirz compounding is working fine and I can handle it financially without the additional concerns required to do grey safely. I love the thought of having a big stockpile in the freezer if the regulatory environment changes however.

Hello! I have also started low. started with .33mg as I pin and prayed lol. after 5 weeks I am currently at 1.333mg every 6 days. So far it has been awesome. Little lethargic, but have been using some modafinil to help with energy and lethargy.

I work nightshifts so I've been prescribed for years and especially with reta it kinda wipes out energy on days with little sleep
