This peptide may be available soon! Does anyone know what the dosage would be? 40mg daily? Or less if pinning it? Any info would be much appreciated!

Yea I saw that after. but nobody has it for injection & the suppliers in china don't yet have the injectable. they are missing out on big $$$ though. so many of us with a genetic predisposition to high LDL would go on it right away!Jfrick11 said:
It's a PCSK9 inhibitor and you wouldn't pin it. This is the oral version of the injectable that's already available. The injectable is crazy expensive, so this would be a huge win for both convenience and cost.
In phase 2 studies they tested these dosages: 6, 12, 18, or 30 mg once daily. All showed clinically meaningful reductions of LDL-C and ApoB w/ >55% placebo-adjusted reduction observed at doses of 12 mg and higher. MK-0616 was well tolerated and there were no overall trends in AEs across treatment groups
They're in phase 3 now, targeting a 20mg dose.

Yeah, evolocumab is by far the most effective drug I've tried for lipid control. About 30% and 50% reduction in LDL and Triglycerides switching from statin. But it's costly even with good insurance and it's a royal pain getting reapproved every year because insurers suck.jg1979 said:

I'm curious if retatrutide lipid effects will be additive with Repatha or if Reta acts through the same PCSK9 inhibition pathway with minimal added improvement. I may find out in a couple months.

Thanks for the data point. I was hoping for an additional improvement with Reta but if that doesn't occur, I may try stopping the Repatha to see Reta effects alone. My brother saw a huge improvement in lipids when switching from 15mg Tirz to 15mg Reta. And yes, I know that is above the trial Reta max dosage.CathyGoesFar said:
No ldl drop on reta only and the drop I've had on repatha is fully in line with regular expected results.

Well well well. I’m on Reta and my Apob dropped 37points my LDL dropped 54points last panel was in February. Started Reta in May had my labs done on July 7th. Did my labs through function health. Looks like it had the needed effect. My Apob is still slightly high but with a 1mg/wk dosage my o/a cholesterol is looking tip top.Bioexplorer said:
