Hi!! Im writing about my experience because I don't think I've seen many like mine. I've been on reta for a month and a half now at 1mg (started at 0.5) and have found this as the sweet spot for myself.

previously I have suffered with EDNOS/ OSFED for a while, but I have found that this has stopped the binge/purge episodes and helped me to lose weight healthily whilst eating sustainably (and fasting occasionally). The only downside is that I can't go for more than 24 hours without throwing up buckets of bile on this which I guess is also a plus for someone in my headspace.

For context, I am 5ft and bmi 20, but want to lose weight for vanity purposes LOL.

I didn't really understand what people meant when they said it doesn't curb food noise but makes you feel fuller faster - Until now and I can barely finish a tub of Chinese 😭

It's kinda like the food you eat feels like a lot more, nothing like a stimulant like vyvanse that makes you feel sick at the thought of eating.

Any questions, feel free to ask!! 🌸

A bmi of 20 + an eating disorder + weight loss drugs for vanity doesn't sound like the healthiest of paths

Eating at maintenance, exercising regularly, and realizing that is the path to looking/feeling better will be far more healthy than taking a peptide for you.

I pray you have someone helping you or a therapist you can consult because this seems like you are replacing one bad habit with another and your body appears to already be fighting the neglect it has endured.

Ah no I was offered monj with my ed specialist as harm prevention, but since its half private it would unfortunately be extortionate.

I get my bloods taken weekly and so its all good!
