Help! The amount of supplements I take is getting way out of hand. Currently I subq Klow, Reta, NAD, 5 amino 1Mq and AOD.

In addition I also take a plethora of oral supplements that is just getting out of hand and I need to cut it way back. My oral supplements are whey protein, Omega 3, glucosamine, magnesium, glycine and. NAC, collagen peptides, BCAAs and creatine.

Because of the Reta I feel like I lack in my micro nutrients and I’m trying to pill pop my way out of it. Any ideas on cutting back? I’ve gotten to a point where it would have been much cheaper to be a crack head.

Did you just throw darts at a board, or did you have specific reasons to add the various things?

If you had reasons, do they still exist? Are they valid/well founded?

Aren’t BCAA nearly worthless?

NAC and NAD and no TMG?

j/k

But really I get how you feel.

The good news is Crack is no where near as healthy, so you have that going for you.

The NAD+ is just a cycle right? the NAC precursor should keep it going after, if needed, but you might consider a methyl donor (TMG)

I was corrected the NAC is a precursor for the glutathione

Once the weight is in control and not at an extreme deficit, you should be able to get protein from diet, so that may be a temporary thing.

Maybe look at this as an investment in health/quality of life as opposed to a cost.

As for the particulars on which of those are overlapping or unnecessary I will let others chime in.

That’s a valid question. I do take each one for a specific need and each one is still needed. I believe based on my age and deficiencies. I strength train 3-5 days a week and really trying to gain more muscle and turn my body into a fat burning machine. I think that’s where most of it my supplement decisions come from

Then by that logic, you have nothing to cut.

In addition to the half dozen peppers, I'm currently taking 10 pill supplements. I think I will cut out Berberine and CoQ10 to get it down to 8.

B Complex, D, Magnesium Glycinate, Nattokinase, Omega 3, Probiotic, Selenium, and Zinc will remain.

There's this scientist named Ray Kurzweil for whom I have great respect because of his contributions to electronic music. He's an all-around really smart guy. He takes something like 80 supplements per day. I know he put a lot of scientific thought into this decision. The number used to be over 100, but he pared it down, not because he thought it was too many, but rather because the quality of supplements improved.

Good point. I’ve seen TMG but haven’t done much research on it. I take a combo of NAC and glycine to up my body’s glutathione for antioxidant boost and to reduce toxins in my liver. The NaD is for energy, cell repair mostly. It may be a cycle but I love that it gives me clean energy all day without other crash and I get the best workouts when I go to gym shortly thereafter.

Yikes! That sounds expensive!

Yeah I think I may be barking up the wrong tree. This entire forum is specifically for peptide/ supplement wackos (myself included). 🤣

You say they all started for a reason and that reason is still present. How are we to refute that?

NAC is a precursor for glutathione, not NAD.

I have a list of 40 oral supplements and it's constantly evolving.. you are not alone in this....

I have a reason for them but I'm not ready to show everyone "my stack" (The Judgment be real tho....)

I currently take the same supplements you are with the exception of Glucosamine/BCAA..

These are rookie numbers 😂😂😂 I'm on what? Six peps? Would like to add one or two more on a cycle with two. And at least a dozen different supplements a day, and collagen powder with a bunch of stuff, and various proteins. I tried creatine for the brain benefits it theoretically offered, but I'm too in weight loss mode right now to manage that water weight so I'll fix my brain more later 😂

I regularly ask grok about my stack and he's like "that's a lot, but your reasoning makes sense." I love that yes man!

You have a problem cutting back on supplements? I think I have a supplement for that!

Just combine them all into one big one so the amount of them doesn't seem so bad. (Absolutely not being serious).

If you think that's getting out of hand, I must be a complete psychopath because I have probably twice that amount of supplements. 🤣

Glucosamine is a waste of money.

And why are you taking NAC, creatine and BCAA?

Bcaa is basically flushing money down the drain. EAAS actually do something. I use an EAA plus electrolytes blend every day after exercise. Keeps me hydrated and one step closer to that Van Damme physique.
