Good price on Amazon where I live. Including labels. Any good? Just ok works too. I'm just going to label very basic info. The obssevie behaviour will probably come and I'll buy a fancy expensive one. But for right now.

Do you mean the D110? I have it and love it. Very simple but great for $15 including 1 roll of labels. There is another thread somewhere here and a few of us have it. Like you, maybe later I will invest in the nicer ones, but it does the job and beats using masking tape and a sharpie.
I also used it to seal Father's Day card envelopes.

Oh! I didn't know about that model, my bad. Mine is the cheapest of all, but I still love it!JohannesSweden77 said:

If you’re only printing simple info, it’s more than enough.JohannesSweden77 said:

Just bought it. Delivery tomorrow. The D110 was $8 cheaper but delivery end of next week. Unacceptable!Alex_9327 said:

Haha, I totally get it. I’d gladly pay the extra $8 to get it soonerJohannesSweden77 said:

The D110 supports slightly smaller label sizes compared to the D101. It’s more compact and portable, and it’s also a bit cheaper.JohannesSweden77 said:
I just read that the D101 is adjustable with different size labels than the D110. Bigger and heavier printer as well. Otherwise the same.

Going to treat myself to the $100 Niimbot M2 at some point. It can print in a few colors (you have to change ribbons and refeed your label), but the ink is supposedly waterproof and oily finger-proof. Of course ribbons cost extra and I'll have to buy every available color.

Does it take the small round labels for 3ml vial caps? That's what I use my D110 for. I have a different small printer for the labels.JohannesSweden77 said:

It does take the same stuff as the 110. I sent him a link to Niimbot for the round labels.BNLFL said:

I had to order the cap labels too, just to keep up with all the cool kids here. A single label on the side is simply Barbaric! Hope no one from the forum opens my freezer to inspect my stash prior to the labels arriving on Monday.BNLFL said:
