Hi all,

So I’ve been searching and looking up some info regarding reconstituting and I’m sure it’s not as complicated as I’m making it seem and I’m sure it’s easy after the first couple of times you do it but I want to be 100% sure I’m getting it right first.

I won’t talk sources here due to my tag still but I think I found the vendor I want to go with. They have RT20 at a decent price (or atleast acceptable to me) and people seem to be happy with it

So I’ve gone up to 7.5mg on tirz (retail) and it fucked me up, first week I was super sick and bloated like nobody’s business. Came off it instead of dropping back down to 5mg. I see the trials are starting at 2mg but then going to 4mg for regular dose on Reta, I see a lot of people sticking to 2mg here so figured that’s where I’d start. My goal is losing 110lb, should I be starting at 0.5 or is 2mg fine?

I found a post stating the below:

2mg=10 doses@20 units

So RT20 + 2ml BAC (hopefully Hospira if I can get it) is 10 doses = 10 weeks?

The lifespan seems to be 12 weeks once reconned? So I mix then store the mix in the fridge, taking it out to room temp before injecting then back in the fridge we go?

  1. Wipe both vials with alc wipe
  2. Draw 100 units of bac x2
  3. Vent RT20 now?
  4. BAC into RT20 at an angle to drop down side (don’t push plunger and neg pressure should just pull it in at its own pace?)
  5. Roll between hands never shake (clear liquid good, cloudy bad)
  6. Store in fridge

Venting is confusing me, I’ve seen people stating to release pressure by inserting the needle without plunger so it equalises with outside pressure. I’ve also seen people saying peptides hate oxygen so keep that pressure in there and different timings for venting, when adding the water or at the end.

Honestly apologies if this is a mess, if I’ve got this completely wrong my bad I’ll go back to researching, conflicting info is just throwing me a little.

Because of your prior experience I think .5 or even 1mg would be a total waste of your time so you should start at 2mg. Your plan for reconning will work but you should find out what mass your vials test at so that you can use a calculator and adjust your math to land closer to reality. For venting you can insert a spare needle at a shallow depth so that it stays above the level of the final solution, then deploy your bac with a separate needle+syringe.
 
You do not need to wait till the reconstituted peptide reaches room temperature before using it. Venting or equalising the pressure of the inside and outside of the vial is just to make it easier to get your dose out, if under negative pressure it is much harder to extract the dose. The official recommendation on reconstituted peptides is maximum of 4 weeks , but many including me are happy to tolerate 2-3 months, slightly higher odds of growing some bugs in there. Your calculations seem ok, always double and triple check them then use an online calculator to make sure. Dosing errors are the most common thing to get wrong, and very easy to do.

In terms of starting doses, you say you had bad effects from 7.5mg of tirz, but not what your response was to the first few doses of presumably 2.5mg, that is by far the best guide as to how well you would tolerate 2mg. If you had zero side effects from 2.5mg of tirz, then 2mg of reta is probably fine, otherwise 1mg might be safer to start. I just do not think 0.5mg is really useful.

Managing doses versus side effects as you escalate doses is important. Ideally you do not want to totally stop and switch peptides when you encounter problems, and if you want to lose 110 lbs then it is going to be a long process. Given you had bad side effects at 7.5mg, the odds are you will get similar effects from reta , maybe around 4-6mg, on average reta has a bit more side effects than tirz, or at lower doses. So near that point dose increases will need to be careful and possibly smaller or slower.

The simplest recipe is - intolerable or very unpleasant side effects, stop ,no more doses till it settles down, then restart at the previous dose you had minimal side effects. Minor side effects - leave the dose alone till it improves, moderate side effects - consider decreasing the dose a bit, no side effects safe to increase doses, after 4 week intervals. look at glpplotter so you understand how the drug works in your system over time, it takes about a day to reach peak blood levels after a dose and 6-7 days for it to drop to half that level, the same dose will continue to build up blood levels for 4 weeks after a dose change , hence the reason to increase doses every 4 weeks.

If you have excellent hunger control or are losing weight as fast as you want to, then there is no real need to keep increasing doses. In the longer term , the odds are you are likely to need to get to maximum doses of reta at 12mg given how much weight you want to lose and maximum doses are probably more effective at preventing long term health issues than smaller doses , but there is no hurry . Eat extra protein.

Great advice from the both of you, thank you.

I went from 2.5mg > 5mg > 7.5mg on tirz. Basically nothing from 2.5, stayed there a month as its like the loading dose. Was on 5mg till I got kinda bloated (now realising it was my own fault for having 1 big meal instead of splitting it up). Family member advised to go up to 7.5 as that agreed with them better and they lose some side effects, didn’t help and side effects increased. Learnt my lesson the hard way and going to remain low as long as it’s working this time around

Yeah 110lb is going to be a journey for sure, I lost around 39lb in 5 months with a solid gym plan and low carb diet

Delete step 3. You do not need to vent when you reconstitute.
 
Remember, the vial isn't under pressure. It's a vacuum. That's why it sucks the water in.

I never vent when  reconstituting a vial. But, I normally use 3ml of water which mostly fills the vial, so no need.

I always vent when I put the contents of a vial into a cartridge. Otherwise the stopper will pop out from the pressure.

Ask me how I know that...

This. You would use a venting needle (and a filter!) when you move the reconstituted pep to a cartridge if you use pens.

Gotchu, yeah I don’t think I’ll be bothering with pens. Unless I travel with it at some point

This, it'll reach close to room temp when you fill the syringe.

If you filter into a new vial you might. I've had to. If the syringe keeps pushing back, vent. The needles only are cheap. I buy all my reconstitution supplies on Amazon except filters and sometimes vials. I buy cheap off brand luer lock syringes, needles and stuff there. I get my Easy Touch and BD syringes somewhere else, as Amazon doesn't sell them in my area.

And a regular syringe, see above. I dislike pens myself.
 
So turns out I’m buying a kit, 10*20.

I’m gonna freeze the other 9 and recon 1. Obviously won’t stick to 2mg for 100 weeks, so instead of pulling 20 units I could just pull 30/40 if I wanted to increase dose?

When you say finding out what mass they test at, is this simply weighing them?
 
By weighing them yourself, you can only check filing consistency between vials of a set. Not the amount of peptide inside. Because there are additives in your peptide and you don't know the ratio of them. Weighing in a vial has also no use because weight of each vial is also different. Do you think there is accuracy in glass weight?

You must weigh full vial. Reconstitute it. Pull all of it with a syringe. Open the vial cap. Dry vial completely and weigh glass and cap together again. Difference is the weight of powder inside. but not the weight of pure peptide. Must also use a scale with a 0.001g~20g weighging reach. 0.001g under limit is important.

If you order from a GB, a lab analysis will be included and you will know the exact content of the vial. Regular sellers sometime provide COA, but it can't really be trusted.

He is suggesting you find a Certificate of Analysis (COA). The documents will tell you how many mgs are in the vial.

So if, for example, your RT20 comes back overfilled (which is common) at 25mg, your dose would be higher than you thought if you reconstituted ot thinking it only had 20mg.

Let me know if this explanation is confusing.

I think you misunderstood @anhydrous, see my reply above. I haven't heard of anyone weighing peptides at home. As you said above it really has no use.

Yeah I thought that might be the case, like when you see 21.87mg, 22mg ect on janoshik.

Would you then class each vial as the same from that batch? We usually people just test 1-2 from a batch

I personally dose based on COAs. I have a chemistry background and like the illusion of precision 😄

I only mix different if the content is very High or low. I'm not worried about a mg or two. If a R60 is 65 or 55mg I'll recon for that, but it's not a ton of difference.

Yeah, if the overfill is like <10%, I tend to apply it to the filtering tax or spill tax 😳👍😎

The Biologix 13mm holds exactly 13mg. I just did this again the other day. You owe me for 13u of BAC, a 1ml syringe and a filter. 😁
