Fairlife chocolate for on the go. At home I mix

Fairlife 2% with Ghost protein if I’m low on carbs for the day or Dymatize ISO100 with water.

My son had me get the Premiere protein Chocolate peanut butter, and it is TASTY, BUT, I think I am lactose intolerant and they sit on the top of my stomach like a ROCK. I just went on a nice long bike ride and as I was sitting on the bench I turned to say something to my hubby and nearly projectiled on him! 🤮. Luckily I swallowed it down and spared him the trauma, but It made me realize, maybe these ones are not the best for me.

I have tried Orgain, and those are dairy free, and probably sit better with me, but the flavors Ive seen are only chocolate and vanilla.. kinda boring.

I know there are TONS of protein drinks out there. What are your faves if you are dairy sensitive? Thanks!

Fairlife chocolate the group consensus here - I concur. For a real treat, add a few tablespoons of chocolate pudding mix (sugar free or regular, your choice) and freeze overnight - then process in your Ninja Creami frozen dessert machine. Tastes like a creamier version of Dairy Queen soft serve or Wendy’s Frosty.

I stock up on the 18 packs at Costco when they run their manufacturer’s rebate (every few months) - drops the price from $40 to $32-34.

my daughter just got the creami . I will tell her!

I’ve been using revolution nutrition protein powder for a few years. They have some solid flavor choices. Currently drinking pistachio ice cream. 25mg protein per scoop and 147 cals

I have tried a lot of them. I have two favorites, beef isolate and egg white. Specifically equip prime protein and asked egg. I mix them together. Absolutely love them, super easy to digest, great amino profile. Transparent labs grass fed beef iso is also great.

The only problem is the egg white gets foamy if you over shake them. If you use a blender, you can't even drink it, it's just foam.

I buy the optimum nutrition gold standard powder from costco. for 5.64bs. its now $75 but was getting it on sale like 6 months ago for $55/lb. at this current price it will probably be $65 when/if it goes on sale. its arguable the best value for better than decent protein. they only carry 2 flavors but I think the vanilla ice cream is really good. they mix well and are versatile.

I have done this with the Fairlife Chocolate Milk, adding sugar free pudding mix, a scoop of protein powder and a little cocoa powder. Chocoholic here. Gonna try it with the protein shake. Thanks for the tip!

Just be aware of this. Most of the plant based protein shakes are high in oxalate, which is not the best thing for those with kidney issues.

2 words - Macro Mike! Best tasting protein shakes I have ever had. Made from Peanuts, Almonds (my fav), or pea with so many yummy flavours. These were a game changer for me because everything else made me gag.

I scour Amazon to find high protein shakes - preferably dairy and ultrafiltered - on discounts. I sign up for subscriptions and as soon as I get it, I cancel the subscription lol.
