Hey starting this form because I saw posts online about reta helping people with symptoms of adhd is this bogus or is there some weight behind the claim?

I can only speak for myself but I've seen big improvements in my ADHD symptoms since starting reta, less impulsive shopping and spending money, less dopamine chasing and less reactive emotions. I finally feel somewhat stable lol

There are no confirmed research articles on the subject yet, only personal experiences.

Some people report benefiting from the cut of the impulses, while others experience deeper depression and may develop anxiety disorders.

It’s much better to do this under medical supervision, especially if you’re already on a prescription, and in any case, you should increase the dose of Reta very carefully.

Following this discussion, I am currently using Tirz and am also interested in Reta. I have not experienced these effects with Tirz, so if they are not merely anecdotal, I am curious to know what differences between these two medications might explain them.

I have noticed that having my food noise under control also reduces other compulsive behaviours. It's as though controlling the food-related part of life helps me better manage the constant search for dopamine, because that drive is no longer continuously present.

Tirz has eliminated almost all food noise and along with that any desire to drink alcohol much. I do still have a glass or two of wine, or a cocktail or two out with my partner, but it's WAY less than it was before starting Tirz.

But I can't say it's helped the ADHD at all. In fact, I feel like it's made it worse since I've been fixated on researching other peps instead of being interested in other things I could be focussing on lol.

Yep, that's exactly what's going on with me too.

Tirz certainly hasn't resolved my wife's ADHD.

I’ve been on Reta for 6 weeks today and honestly never thought or heard about this, but looking back I I think I can see a difference. I haven’t really had the OCD fixations. I’ve definitely been more interested in peps though lol.

Im diagnosed with combined ADHD. I have gotten alot of help from reta. It helps with this constant dopamine chases and does somewhat lower my lack of impulsive control.

I've read that retas "food-noice-cancel" is related to dopamine and the brains own reward system. Maybe thats why it helps us with adhd abit aswell.

Was the same for me. It wasn't until my iPhone gave me my weekly update on screentime that I understood how much I've been reading up on peptides during my first weeks here 🤣

Definitely helped with my gaming. I used to play all the time to help me focus. I lose interest on tasks easily so I have to play to take my mind of said task and then I can focus on the task again. Now I dont even feel the need to open any games. I get a lot of stuff done.

And its not just games, its scrolling online, constantly looking at sports stats, even gambling. All the nuances that I used to do to keep my mind busy.

This is so real, the reward system from gaming just got canceled and honestly I feel like the reward system in general is canceled. It's tough to say but almost nothing makes fun anymore, but u are locked in, like people advertise "Ashwaghanda its gonna make u cold" and all that bullshit, I feel like it's like that on Reta

Yeah its a lot of the unnecessary stuff. Like I still enjoy spending time with my wife and kids and just yesterday I had a blast at a concert so those things are still fun for me. But now i just do stuff to get it done like eating for example, im not trying to eat as much as i can no matter how I like the food, I just eat to eat basically. I try not to put off stuff anymore like if I need to clean the garage it gets cleaned right away no more "ill do it when im in the mood". Just stuff like that.

Yes, this has become a problem for me also. Im going back to school in the fall (exactly 40 days from now) and instead of focusing on getting ready I'm reading about Semax and Epitalon.

lol, yes, this exactly. I can't blame the Tirz though, it's really my ADHD brain. Unfortunately, the older I get the harder it is for me to pick and choose what I get hyper-focused on. I guess this is why I'm investigating the same peps you are. 😉

If I were to dissect my experience, I believe it was the amazing effectiveness of the GLP1's that has triggered my brain to think other peps could be as effective. I was amazed just one day in that I just had to research more. The fact that it's such a rabbit hole really hits my ADHD brain in a way that I became a bit obsessed with understanding this whole world, sourcing, etc etc.
