This isn't medical advice, it's simply what has worked for me.

My Dosing Schedule

I didn't rush the dose increases. I wanted to give my body time to adjust.

Weeks 1–5: 1 mg once weekly

Weeks 6–9: 2 mg once weekly

Week 10 onward: 4 mg once weekly

I've now been at 4 mg for several weeks and plan to stay here until I reach my goal before eventually tapering down.

My Diet...

I didn't follow any complicated meal plan or eliminate entire food groups.

Instead, I focused on a few simple principles:

Prioritize protein at every meal.

Keep calories reasonable without starving myself.

Drink lots of water.

Eat until I'm satisfied—not stuffed.

A typical day looks something like this:

Breakfast!

Premier Protein or Fairlife protein shake

Sometimes a homemade PE Science vanilla shake made with Fairlife 2% milk

Snack Time... Between Breakfast and Lunch

Either,

2 Hard-boiled eggs or a serving of Cottage cheese (low fat) or a Protein bar if I'm on the go

Dinner!

Chicken breast between 120 and 150 grams (occasionally fish) Boneless and Skinless baked with no fats

Lots of vegetables like peas, carrots, green beans, broccoli, or baby corn

Nothing fancy. Just consistent.

I've Learned that Retatrutide has definitely helped reduce my appetite, but it still requires making good choices.

Some days are easier than others.

I've had weeks where the scale barely moved, and even a couple where it went up. Instead of getting discouraged, I kept following the plan because I knew weight loss isn't perfectly linear.

The biggest lesson has been that consistency beats perfection.

My Results this far,

In just 15 weeks, I've lost over 75 pounds.

Even more exciting than the number on the scale:

Clothes that were once tight are now too big, I have more energy, Everyday activities are easier, I finally feel like this is something I can maintain long term.

My Advise..... If you care lol...

If you're just beginning your journey, don't compare your progress to anyone else's. Find a routine you can live with.

Eat enough protein, Stay hydrated.

Trust the process, Some weeks you'll lose a lot, Some weeks you won't.

Just keep showing up.

Fifteen weeks ago I hoped this medication might help change my life, today, I truly believe it already has.

Losing 15lb between week 14 and 15 is incomprehensible.

Losing 5lb a week for 15 weeks at 386lb starting weight is risky.

You understand what crazy can mean for your gallbladder, right?

15lb in week 14 after a 2lb regain the week before is wild. That’s implying a 5k calorie deficit daily, if 40% of the weight is lean mass.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I have no advice for someone starting at 490 pounds. I've never walked a mile in your shoes. When I've watched the TV show, my 600 pound life, the determined people lost incredible amounts of weight in a very brief time. I think you have an interesting story. Please keep us posted.

My first goal is to hit a weight that starts with a 2.... I'm 8 pounds away as of Sunday.... after that I want to hit the 100 pounds lost goal... and eventually, hopefully, get to right around 200 pounds, it seems like its far away but so did my first 50 and then 75, so I know its attainable!! Thank you for the support!!

Very impressive. You are certainly doing the work. This isn't just taking a drug and relaxing on the recliner and expecting the weight to fall off. Nice job.
