Shipping time of year and degradation

So I was reading about Epithalon and it says Epithalon experiences fast degradation with higher temperatures. The figure I read said 40% degradation after 72 hours of temperatures above 6 degrees Celsius.

Another I looked at was mots-c- this is also susceptible to significant degradation above 4 degrees Celsius and renders it useless for research testing of it exceeds certain time frames.

I’m sure there are others as well.

This reminded me of when I was into fish tanks and people would send fish but never in summer. It was a seasonal thing.

Should we be treating peptides the same way?

I think so.

I ordered a kit of Epi and it was in shipping routes for 10 days. The package was left in a mailbox which was probably 100+ degrees for a few hours in addition to all the travel time.

It makes me wonder how many of these “ I didn’t notice any effect” comments we see is due to improper handling.

I will obviously be buying more but not until winter has come to help aid the process. I will be checking stability of peps for temperature from now on and order accordingly.

What you read about epithalon was likely in regards to the peptide after it has been reconstituted. Lyophilized peptides are much more stable.

There is a well-known anecdote told by Peter Magic, of Janoshik testing - the most trusted name in peptide testing - that he found an old batch of peptides that had been sitting in his garage for 10 years. Sorry, I can't remember which one exactly, but when he tested them there was very little degradation.

I think the degradation only occurs like that after reconstitution.
 
Well, from sitting in a warehouse in who knows where and temps, to shipping, to delivery service truck at whatever temp (most don't have AC) to sitting in my mailbox or front entry for hours here in SW Fl. The stuff is fine and has been working fine on me since early January.
