I've tried retatrutide up to 12 mg, and it didn't seem to do anything for me besides cause severe bloating. It didn't give me any appetite suppression, nor did it reduce my food noise. It did seem to work slightly in the beginning at the lower doses, but that faded away rather quickly. I'm not looking for extreme weight loss, but rather a tool that will allow me to adhere to a good diet and moderate calorie deficit so I can improve my physical and mental health. I could probably benefit from losing around 5 - 8 kg (11 - 18 lbs), but at the moment I'm just looking for something that will suppress my appetite and possibly food noise so I can spend my (mental) energy on things that are actually productive.
I recently bought a kit of tirzepatide, semaglutide, and cagrilintide. I'm currently 2 weeks off retatrutide and will soon be trying out one of these three compounds and potentially stacking the amylin analogue with a GLP-1 if necessary. I obviously want to take things slow instead of throwing the kitchen sink at it, so I'm wondering which compound I should consider trying first.
Also, if any of you have had a similar experience with Reta and switched to another compound, I'd love to hear your story.
