So I’ve been using tirz for a while, recently me, my wife and my mother have been getting a painful welt from it. I initially thought it might have been contaminated so threw it away. I started again with a new batch of orange top with a new brand of bac water and still getting it with all of us.

I’m reconstituting

2 x 30mg vials - defrosted to room temp

with 1.3ml of bac and then putting them into a 3 ml cartridge after it’s settled and everything is sterile wiped repeatedly. I’m doing it this way so the clicks roughly match a 15mg pharma branded pen because my mother kept asking how many clicks she would use as she is used to the normal pens.

Me and my wife are using a novopen, my mother is using a v2 and all using BD micro fine 32g needles into the leg.

Any ideas where I’m going wrong?

There was a fair amount of orange cap T30 that tested real high for endotoxins earlier this year....search "endotoxins" and see if you can zero in on some of those threads...

The other possibility besides air or contaminate can be depth or angle.

Many have welts (ISR) when too shallow.

The leg is an unusual place for glp1 injection.

Have you tried stomach? what length needle? are you going in too shallow of an angle?

Its the "all three of them" getting welts that bothers me....could be air, but all three?

For 4mm or 6mm needles, you are going straight in at 90 degrees, right? I don't angle for 6 mm or less.

Otherwise, one option is to save the kit for the back of the freezer as a backup and move on.

It’s not air, I’ve been doing it a while so know not to do that.

I’m using 4mm, 32g micro fine needles at 90 degrees.

It’s left to reach room temp before injecting.

I’m hoping it’s not endotoxins as I’ve just bought 10 kits 😖. I did read up on the endotoxins before buying it but thought that was just down to one seller which I’m not using.

I’ve always used the leg for GLPs and it’s shown as an area to use with the pharma stuff?

Have you thought about filtering? Now may be a good time. Won't help with endos but would help with bacteria, etc.

In addition to the abdomen, I like the upper arms for subq.

There were quite a few sellers when I tested that link I provided you.

Also...

What BAC are you using?

Could it be the carts you bought for pen? Have you tried a syringe?

No haven’t really thought about it, I’ll read up on it and give it a go.

Try filtering and your concentration sounds also too high. Reconstituting 60mg with 1.3ml Bac? I was reconstituting 20mg with 2 ml BAC without any problems. Inject around your belly or behind your upper arms like @Skidude and @Calm Logic have also mentioned.

Even if it is endos, filtering solves that problem

If they exist in the lyophilized state, filtering will not help. If the T30 was not sterile and more were created, initially filtering would help remove the bacteria and avoid the creation of new endotoxins.

Endotoxins are too small for the filter, but can grow in non sterile peptides.

With all your other brand name items, I doubt you have a bad batch of alcohol wipes. Have you ruled that out?

I’ve tried different ones but the current ones are 70% which I think is low compared to my last ones

Nope. As @Skidude noted, endotoxins are not filtered out.

And OP is reconstituting 60mg with 2.6mL of bac, I believe. I think they are combining two separate vials into one pen cart. So, it's probably not the concentration.

I'd guess that it's high endos is causing the ISR.

70% is ideal, it is the evaporation that benefits. 90% might be an issue.

I have corrected it

I’m from the UK so it’s difficult to get BAC water but I usually buy from Amazon if it has a a lot of 5 star reviews but they don’t last long before getting taken down.

The carts are from Amazon and say they are sterilised and I haven’t had a problem with them from the same seller before.

I checked the link but I couldn’t find my seller on any of the posts, I’ll send them an email and try and find the batch number but the janoshnik report it showing 2026031030 as the batch
